They fit deliver quick and install fairly easy (tedious but easy), just take your time with removing the hog ties and don't rip out the seat ring, like someone recommended I used zip ties instead (check for the highest fitting lbf zip ties to be safe idk maybe overkill) but the seats look and fit like OEM I just need to hit it with the heat gun and let them tighten up and it'll look as good as others in the reviews. Well enough made but kind of fussy in terms of the exact fit. I don't know if the 2005 MSM seats are different, but I really had to argue with these to get them on. That said, after some troubleshooting and securing them they are great and they stay put even in spirited driving. They look right instead of just looking like an obvious cover. Haven't been putting through enough to test their longevity, so I can't comment there. These are slightly spendy, but they succeed in being a product in the middle of the really-cheap to rather-spendy vs cost graph. ... show more

These were very time consuming to install..not so much difficult, but time consuming, i ordered a pair of hog ring "shown in picture" pliers and 3/4 hog rings on Amazon before installing & it all went smoothly, i wound up going to wmt during installation to get a pair of cutting pliers to help remove the okd hog rings. These look great. UPDATE 08/2/25, I purchased a second set of these in 2025 for my other Miata because I was so satisfied with the first pair, however the material is different, cheaper and extremely uncomfortable to sit in, it sticks to everything, what i mean is it's impossible to sit in the seat without my shirt getting stuck on the terrible material that they've started selling since I last purchased these a few years ago. I wish that they would have kept selling the same material... NOT RECOMMENDED ANYMORE. ... show more

An awesome and affordable option to recondition worn Miata seats. Do yourself a favor and order hog ring pliers and a 200pcs hog ring set and you will be golden. I used a steamer to help softer material for stretching. Also have a few zip ties handy as you will need some.

Not easy to install. I'm not sure how much of the fit issues were due to the condition of the foam in my seats vs the quality of the covers. Overall, it was worth the money. For what it would cost to recover them at an upholstery shop it was worth the hassle of diy. The Only real tip I have is to get the vinyl warm in the sun before attempting to install and take your time ... show more

Fantastic, absolutely nothing to dislike about this product for the money fits great, looks great and feels great. I highly recommend unless you want to have that leather smell. Don’t think that’s worth another $1000 or so. But If I had a few million in the bank I guess I probably would have had someone hand stitch so fine Italian leather.     • Driver seat cushion not cut correctly
I spent most of a day installing the passenger side seat cover. I worked on the driver side next and found the material on one side of the underside that connects to the seat base is not cut the same length as all the others. This makes it impossible to install. I contacted Amazon about a replacement driver side seat bottom. All they could do was set up a return. Amazon offered no other options and eventually the chat assistant just stopped responding to my questions. Now I have to remove the passenger side cover, which looks great and was no easy task to install, and send the set back for a refund. What a waste of time. I'm going with a different set next time. ... show more
