Edit: The company was very responsive in getting me the unit that I ordered. I never minimize good customer service because if there’s ever an issue when a company is willing to go out of their way to help, it really matters. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re already into podcasting but it’s a great beginner set at a reasonable price for someone to determine whether or not they want to go forward. There are some annoying voice prompts that will end up on your recording and you need to be aware of those whenever you change settings. The microphone is a little sensitive so you need to work on placing it properly, using a good muffler, and adjusting your gain. In the mixing settings and the effects are pretty fun to play with for the price. And again, if I have any problems I’m confident that the company will be responsive. ———- So I ordered the unit in a particular hue. My order says that, and the box that it came in was the correct one as well. But what was inside I was nothing close to what I ordered. I doubt I will ever be in the mood to use a serously pink sound mixing station, it’s a real shame because I was really really looking forward to testing out the features of this unit. But at this point I really don’t care how it performs. 4 ⭐ A very good product that I would buy or an average product at a very value price that meets all expectations performs wonderfully and I would purchase again and reckoned to others.

It had all of the bells and whistles. Not user friendly. Just a bunch of junk that is sitting on my table useless. Although the color pink was cute. Never would hook up to microphone. Stay away don't waste your time.

My second workstation is where my brother usually do some work when he comes over, and he does use several equipment including audio console because my brother is a professional gamer who also streams/record his play (mostly with his PD team) and shoots vlogs. He cannot easily move around with this entire setup and his team isn't always with him with all the necessary equipment either. So I've been trying to set up this 2nd workstation where he can also do his main work without too much in convenience when he's at my house. The reason I requested this particular one (besides the color), is that I've bought several mics from this brand (mostly for my family), which has been working great over the extended period. After trying out a couple of times, my brother said the performance of mic and the available functions were much better than he expected for the price. It worked without any issue with this recording software, and he tried out auto-tune, built-in sound effects, various voice pitches, side chain, look back, and music only functions to the satisfaction (again for the price). Obviously it won't be as great as the ones that cost several times but the cost performance is outstanding according to him. The mic was really cute, and it should be okay for the beginners but you might want to upgrade the mic if you want to more advanced quality again according to my brother lol So... I actually didn't really need this type of podcast equipment for myself to be honest, and I ordered this one for the color, pink haha so that I can set up this and match the theme at my 2nd workstation. But in turned out to be a great choice in terms of overall quality vs price !!

This is a nice starter set for your budding podcaster. It's easy to set up, just plug it into your PC via USB and off you go. Do remember to actually turn it on, though. I was confused for a while because when you plug it in, the charging light will light, but it's not actually on until you press the button on the back! The microphone is adequate, and the samples are quite decent in terms of quality. The basic scenario for using this is in conjunction with streaming software. Start your software, connect to your audience, and say your piece in the microphone. Add effects as appropriate- applause, laughter, etc., and mix background music from an external source like a phone or CD player to create a richer presentation than a mic alone will allow. There's also a voice changer, and four pads that you can assign your own samples to as well. It has a rechargeable battery, so doesn't need to be plugged in to operate. There are quite a lot of similar gadgets on the market; this ones sound quality elevates above many others. Even my daughter made a comment, and she is less focused on such things than I am.
