I bought this desk for my PE classroom so I could roll it from my office to the gym. It allows me to put the projector on the upper table and the computer on the lower to run exercise and informational videos. There are two negatives, one is having to manually lower and raise the height. It’s not hard, just a pain. And the second is The angled desk mount doesn’t work well but fortunately I don’t use it angled so it doesn’t bother me. The screw hole and bolt don’t seem to want to work together to hold the desk top at an angle. Maybe it’s just me not doing it right. Other that that it rolls good, locks in place. It’s really a great looking type desk for multiple uses. As for support,” I gave a 5 star. When I received my desk it had some Damage to one of the desk tops. I contacted support and worked with Lucy to address the problem. I sent pics of the damage and verification of purchase. Within a couple weeks I had a whole new desk damage free. Thank you Lucy you are appreciated. So now I have this desk at work and home and I get a lot done f great use out of both of them. ... show more

This is literally a work-transforming desk on my work from home days. PROS Small footprint and multiple uses. When I am not using this for my work from home day I use it for a table to eat meals -I'm 5 ft 7 and can adjust the riser high enough to use it as a standing desk and have the lap top at eye level. Unlike an expensive desk riser that took a LOT of space unit i had before I feel this is much more adjustable and works better -When not in use it is a side table for my couch -I love it that I can roll it into location I want -it is reasonable well made and sturdy enough for my purposes, sturdier than I expected for the price CONS while easy to assemble the adjustable tilt portion of the desk does not stay at the angle I want it. I like the small foot print but wouldn't put a desk top computer on because of the size. A lap top with my coffee and phone is about all the room each section of the 2 part desk can hold. I want to go ahead and reference the height so you don't have to read a lengthy review if that is what you are concerned about. I'm 5'2", with the higher side fully extended my arms are elevated and my head doesn't leave a normal neutral position (which is fabulous). Taller folks may not think this is tall enough, however, if you are remotely handy, you could always go to Home Depot and get longer L-shaped polea so it goes higher! I'm a full-time chiropractic student and sitting down for hours on end wasn't doing it for me (or my lower back, neck, shoulders, hips, basically my body felt super restricted and sore... everywhere). I researched A LOT of standing desks before purchasing, my main concern was having enough room for my computer, iPad, notebook and planner and as you can see in the images this has plenty of room for it all (yay). When assembling I do recommend attaching the boards to the L-shaped poles before sliding them into place, it makes attaching them so much easier. Also watching one of the reviewer videos helps because he puts it together step by step so you know what you're getting in to. I also recommend having a larger screw driver on hand for more leverage and to keep from stripping your screws. Package arrive undamaged, and in perfect condition. Instructions were pretty easy to understand, just separate out all parts into according like-groups and you'll be fine. The wheels are not the highest quality, but I don't need to move mine much so this didn't really bother me. Again if you wanted something more sturdy, quick trip to Home Depot for some heavier duty casters should do the trick. Overall pretty sturdy, I do have the top piece backed up to the wall for added security (just in case). Very pleased with the price point and the fact that it saved me a grueling trek through multiple stores to find the right thing. I've been using it for 3 days now and am loving it. My back already feels so much better and so does my neck and shoulders. I also loved that this came with different style options, not many of the other brands had different wood/metal colors so I was really happy to find something that fit in with my other decor (just a bonus, not a make or break). From a future chiropractor, if you are on the computer for several hours a day, and have the opportunity to purchase and use a standing desk, I highly HIGHLY recommend doing so. Overall I am quite pleased with this desk. It was fairly easy for me, a 64 yo woman to put together. It fits next to my bed making it easy for me to work while sitting on the side of the bed. I like the two level design. It rolls and moves easily. I’m happy.

I’m using this in my classroom and once I got finished putting it together, I noticed it is missing one of the adjustable knobs so I can lock the desk portion in place once I raise or lower it. 1. The customer service was great--Lucy helped resolve my problem to a full extent. This made it all worth my time--so if you're nervous about your purchase, this should calm your worries. 2. That being said, the desk itself wasn't great quality. I built it carefully exactly to spec (took ~30 minutes & no extra tools required), but it simply cannot hold that much weight. I put a monitor and two textbooks on it, and it collapsed on me... scary & frustrating moment. 3. Ergonomically, it's smart having two levels--one for the keyboard and one for the monitor, so that you don't have to crank your neck downward to see your laptop. However, this desk top level cannot hold a large monitor without falling (or making me nervous it will fall). So, if you HAVE AN EXTERNAL KEYBOARD, then you can use that on the lower shelf and put your laptop alone on the upper shelf and should be okay... just wish the desk was a bit sturdier or simply had one extra support bar on the back side to hold it all up more safely. 4. I'll also add that I'm 5'11" and the highest level was just a bit too short for me. It didn't quite reach to eye level when standing. If you have an empty shoebox or two, you can add that on the top layer below your laptop to make it higher. That should do it, but not without the extra effort. Overall, it's a good idea and viable option, just with some caveats. Again, giving it a try isn't so bad when you know they'll have great customer service if something goes wrong. ... show more
