The media could not be loaded. Picked up this siding installation tool for a home renovation project. It definitely makes the job easier, especially when working alone. The adjustable spacing feature is handy, saved me from constantly measuring and marking. Managed to hang 12-foot boards without too much struggle, which was a pleasant surprise. The rubber padding is a nice touch, didn't leave any marks on the siding. However, it's not all smooth sailing. The handle can be a bit finicky - overtighten it and the whole thing pulls away from the wall, undertighten and it slips. Took some trial and error to get it just right. The polycarbonate body feels a bit flimsy, made me nervous on windy days. It works well for standard siding thicknesses, but if you're using anything non-standard, you might be out of luck. The adjustments are in quarter-inch increments, which is fine for most jobs but might limit you if you need something more precise. Overall, it's a useful tool that speeds up the siding process, but it does require some patience to master. Good for DIYers tackling siding projects, but professionals might find it basic. Saves time once you get the hang of it, just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve.

We used these to put siding on the house and if you’re alone they assist you in getting the cement siding on, but there is a learning curve to get them in place. To tight leaves a gap, to loose the board moves but once you get it this tool lets one person put up the siding.

As someone who loves tackling any home improvement projects head-on, I've accumulated a fair share of tools over the years. But I have to say, these Drusolell cement siding jigs saved me SO MUCH TIME AND ANXIETY! I'm so glad to have found them. I started my siding installation using a product called Hardi-Plank on our home but didn't get very far before deciding to try these tools. ...I was afraid my language was gong to offend the neighbors! Working alone on the project, I was having trouble managing the long pieces of concrete siding that are way heavy and super flexible. I snapped several new pieces of siding in half that got away from me while trying to hold them in place and setting a few nails. These siding jigs arrived in the morning and by that evening I had easily installed 3-4 times the siding I'd done previously! They have completely transformed how I handle the work and a true game-changer. These jigs provide the ability to set up each piece with incredible precision. They take the guesswork out of aligning and spacing the siding, which was time-consuming and a frustrating part of the job. Now I'm able to get perfectly even spacing and alignment every time, which has really improved the look of my project but also cut down on installation time. I installed cement composite shake siding in the gables and used these for that material as well. Since they are adjustable, I simply set them up for the appropriate reveal/spacing and went after it. What really stands out, though, is how solid and well-built these are. They're clearly designed with durability and commercial construction in mind, so I believe they'll last a long time. They're also incredibly simple. You'll appreciate how intuitive they are to use. I've used them through most of my siding job now and the results are top-notch. If want to save a lot of frustration and spare your neighborhood of expletives, you've got to get these Drusolell siding jigs. Very highly recommended!

We are in the process of building a new house and at the point where it is time to put on lap siding on a 2000 sq. ft. house. If you only have two people working on installing, these are a must have not only for providing the extra hands, but for ensuring that the siding maintains the same intervals between rows. They are super easy to use. If I were doing this again, the only thing I would do different would be to buy and extra set to help move a little faster.
