The only thing negative I can say about this is that I can't really tell how the metal is coated and how durable it may be over time. Obviously the switch area is not coated but the body and bolt area is colored with something, just not sure what it is. Would I buy it again? Yes, I would. I've had the threaded knob battery cut offs and they become unreliable and often take more time to operate than I want to spend. This is due to the nylon threaded portion that buffers the screw. This design is as a simple as it gets and as quick as anyone can expect. Essentially no more difficult than a light switch. The tension is good, no voltage loss noted, and is very positive on/off.     • Will not work as delivered! Had to modify to work.

First of all, the manufacture needs to go back and reinvent the unit it self. I had to drill out the threads for the bolt to tighten up on the battery. It just would not tighten up with out doing that . It can not be threaded and tighten up on the battery! Next the battery cable bolt would not start on the unit. I had to pull out the bolt on the cable and replace it with a bolt. I am hoping that it will all work out fine now. Don't know yet. ... show more
