Was I expecting an out of world quality desk for this price? No. It’s not mind-blowing amazing or anything. It’s a simple flat top basic desk and serves its purpose; especially for what it costs. The frame did have multiple dents in it which affected how the pieces fit and at some points weren’t even fitting and my boyfriend had to help me bend some of the metal so the pieces would fit. Welding was sloppy and all over the place but nobody’s going to see that part of the desk so doesn’t matter. Took maybe 20-30 minutes to put together. One person could do it (and it may take longer) but it’s easier with 2 people for sure. At the end of it all though; it fit perfectly in the spot I wanted to put it and is exactly what I wanted and looks great! Simple and good what I currently need. ONE major con though… if you plan on wanting a VESA clamp mount monitor stand for your desk- you might not be able to. The edges of the desk have a triangle frame and adds a lot of width. So if you want to try to clamp something… it wouldn’t work. This was disappointing to me as I didn’t realize that when I bought it. And I really wanted to be able to mount my monitor. It was all I wanted and came at a great price point.If I could have asked for anything it would have been some type of rubber pads for the bottom . It tends to slide on my wood floor.
