  • Almost Perfect
Size: 36-Inch Color: Black
Purchased in July '23. Arrived on time and without any damage. Been using this for 2 months. This unit has worked out perfectly for me. Due to a physical issue with my hamstring tendons I cannot sit for the long hours my home-based hobby job requires. So I needed a means to convert my conventional corner desk to a standing desk. This is the perfect solution. Quick and easy to assemble the shelf and basket. It was easy to lift it into place on my desktop by myself without significant effort. I was easily able to fit two 21"x13.5" monitors on the shelf. (Any bigger than that may be difficult to fit, depending on the size and shape of the monitor stand base.) There is plenty of room for my ergonomic wireless keyboard and mouse, with two mouse pads, on the large main top surface, to the right of the keyboard - 90% of my work involves the mouse so I needed plenty of room for it and the pads. The main surface is deep enough (front to back) to allow me to rest my mouse hand forearm on the desktop. I'm 6' tall. I've raised the desktop to a point maybe an inch short of it's maximum height to achieve the best ergonomic position for my hands/arms. That height also allows me to raise/lower the monitors to the perfect ergonomic eye level height. The unit is sturdily built, solid and secure. Very little if any wiggle when typing or mousing. The levers that release/lock the raising/lowering mechanism function as intended and seem strong and secure. Some physical effort is required to initiate the lift after releasing the locking mechanism - it doesn't just spring up. Once it's in motion up or down it's smooth and easily controlled, until the levers are released and the locking mechanism is engaged again. I do 90% of my computer time in the standing position so I don't have to raise and lower the unit frequently - I just leave it in the raised position. In my case, the only negative aspect relates to the front-to-back depth of the unit. It's a relatively minor issue, but does account for my 4-Star Ergonomic and Overall rating. I'd like about 3-6 more inches of front-to-back depth for the desktop and riser, or just the riser. This would allow me to push the monitors back/away a little further and thereby optimizing the ergonomic distance between the screens and my eyes. I feel like I'm a little close. Adding a keyboard/mouse tray that slides out from underneath might provide a few more inches of front-to-back depth for a more ideal eye-to-screen distance, but one would lose the ability to support your forearms on the desktop surface. And in my case there would need to be plenty of room along the right side of a tray for lots of mouse movement. Nonetheless I am very happy with this unit, and recommend it strongly. ... show more

  • Actual desk space
Size: 36-Inch Color: White
The desk is actually functional if you need a desk space that isn’t just a keyboard holder! It’s fairly large workable writing space with the motions being raised. Helps with not sitting for too long for back pain. Assembly was only for the top shelf and took maybe 15 minutes. The only issue I have is that it’s hard to lift up with the 2 monitors, but easy to push down because of the added weight. It’s sturdy and does the job! Worth it in my opinion. The little tray drawer is also a bonus because it houses my notes that I need to reference to often but is out if the way. I also decided to have the shorter shelf screwed into the first hole and the shelf hangs off just a bit and it adds a few extra inches to the desk itself. The quality is pretty good and is sturdy! It hold two at least 24 inch monitors, but it definitely depends on the monitor stand that you have. Overall for the price is much better than the other standing desk converters out there due to the functionality of the desk space itself! ... show more

  • Works as designed, but could be better.
Size: 36-Inch Color: Rustic Brown
I think this works well enough. I have a couple of notes though. 1 - The rubber feet on the bottom will come off with the slightest side-to-side motion. That leaves metal directly on your desk, in my case wood. If you do not realize it right away and fix it, then you end up with major gouges in your wood desk. I had to take everything off it and re-glue the rubber feet to the bottom. One fell off again, so now I have duct tape and glue holding them on. 2 - I think the underneath basket is pretty useless for me. I wanted my keyboard back a little further than the basket would allow, so I am not using it. 3 - If you lower it, expect it to be very heavy to lift again. The hydraulics do not do much in the way of assistance. My wife was not able to lift it safely by herself. It is sturdy, it does allow you to adjust the height, and it will fit two full-size monitors on the top shelf. I think they need a redesign on the rubber feet, but it is an easy enough fix. ... show more

  • Pretty nice standing desk
Size: 36-Inch Color: Rustic Brown
The only issues I have so far are that the little rubber pads on the bottom of the stand that prevent it from moving around so easily all fell off and I had to find them and put them back on. I may have to super glue them down though because they are not as sticky now and I don't think they'll stick forever. They are definitely needed though. My other issue is that at the lowest the riser will go, it's still too high for me for when I want to sit down to use my computer. I am pretty short though, so that definitely adds into that issue. Other than that, I really like the desk riser! It works well, I haven't had any issues adjusting it up or down. I like the basket on it, I use it to store some of my notebooks. I like the optional riser for the monitor, it puts my monitor at the right height for me. Overall I think it was a great purchase! ... show more
