Whatever she colored on the table washed right off. Haven’t had a clothing issue to try yet though. They take a minute to load the first time using them but there is lots of colors and seem to take a beating pretty well. My granddaughter thinks making dots requires a lot of force although they work nicely with a soft touch. Therefore she is really hard on every marker she has ever had until now. These have held up nicely under pressure so far. The best part of all is the caps screw off and back on. Having to snap caps back on any other marker is impossible for me to keep up with and caps get lost but not with these. Easy peasy my granddaughter has no trouble with them. There are so many colors to try which is good considering you are mostly making dots so trying all the colors seems to be the adventure here. They can color but the nib is wide. My girl loves dots so this is really great! I may be getting a plastic bin to put them in although the box is sturdy. Boxes have a short life in my house with dogs and kids around. Colors are nice and vibrant and they are really juicy for now. We shall see how it goes. ... show more

I had the typical dot "dabber" markers that are huge and was unhappy that they took a while for ink to flow into the nib and they were easily distroyed by my children. I'm sure those are great for toddlers. Maybe. But not great value. So I was looking for an alternative - okay, I lie, I was looking for replacement nibs. And then I ran across these. Colors seemed bright, size was wider than standard pencils (which is what I want for art materials for my 3-6 crowd) without being huge and unwieldy. So, why not. Decided to give them a try. I have been super pleasantly surprised. Colors are bright, nibs don't need time to fill with ink, size (length and width) are great. They're small enough that if a child ends up distroying a few of them it's not going to be a big deal (I mean, I hope not, but... Children). The one thing I have no opinion on so far is how washable they are. Hasn't come up (yet). Right now I have 4 autumn colors out together with paper with printed tree trunks for "fall trees" and it's been going great. I see great potential to bring them out repeatedly throughout the year in different color combinations for different purposes. My only complaint, if I'm being nit picky, so far is that I fish it were a smaller package with less colors. I personally don't need quite so many, but that's just me. ... show more

Dot Markers are really great for toddlers. The color is true. The child feels like they are using markers. The tops are color coded which helps with replacing the tops after use. These dot markers are awful. If the cap is twisted on too tight, the entire top of the marker will turn and can be pulled out. Under that top is a tube full of ink, which inevitably explodes everywhere when the tube is inadvertently pulled out. To make matters worse, the ink is nearly unwashable. Ink on skin takes dozens of washings to remove and ink on clothes permanently stains. I used these with multiple 2nd and 3rd grade classes and had problems with 5 different markers. Don't buy these, especially if you teach young students!!! ... show more
