I got these outdoor paints to use for different craft projects. I like they they work on a variety of surfaces like rocks and canvas. The selection of colors is great, there's everything from bright vivid colors to natural neutrals, plus they mix really well so I can create all the colors I need, making these a good quality set of paints. The paint is a nice thick creamy consistency that is easy to work with. It's also very easy to clean with just some warm water. Thin coats dry relatively quickly, but thicker layers do need about an hour. Thin layers dry to the touch in about 10-15 minutes, so I can blend colors if I would quickly. Full dry time is a few hours but I give any projects I'm going to put outside at least 3 days before putting them outside. The paint offers good coverage with just one layer, but depending on the project and level of detail, I need two layers for full opaque coverage. ... show more

I haven't had the opportunity yet to use these for a project, but I did test several colors for consistency, texture and opacity. I do a lot of craft painting and I know what I'm looking for in a good paint. I don't like having to apply a lot of coats or be forced to use additives for a smooth finish. I'm finding these paints to be decent quality. The opacity is good, it's thin enough to flow or spread smoothly and it dries fairly quickly. It dries slightly darker than the wet product with a satin finish. The price is exceptional, breaking down to only $2.50 a bottle. Definitely worth giving a try. ... show more
