The paint was easy to use. We did get some on clothes and used shout it out quickly and it came out. The colors of the paint are vibrant and fun. After drying they still retained their color.

I bought this fabric paint to use for my sister and I's Halloween costumes this year. I used this paint on a canvas-like fabric. The colors are vivid and apply evenly. The texture was great - not too thin to where the colors are bleeding, but not so thick that it clumps up. I haven't noticed any cracking or fading so far. It seems like the paints will last a long time as a little bit of product goes a long way. I like that this kit comes with a variety of colors as well as a palette and brushes. Though, I'll be honest the brushes are a bit cheap and one broke already. I don't mind because I already have tons of brushes at home. ... show more

The range of colors and the size of the bottles and the protective caps they have are all great features. In addition, it comes with three paint brushes and a palate for paints. The colors blend really nicely and I got some good effects with blending different colors. However, I was using washed dark colored T-shirts and the light colors simply sank into the fabric, even after four or five coats. See my first photo of the fish: that was after five applications! I purchased a bottle of Tulip soft matte and put 2 coats of that on the places where I wanted white or other light colors. You can see how that worked on the second fish and the planets. For nuanced pictures that have gradations and brushstrokes, this looks pretty good, but if you want really solid blocks of color, you’re probably better off going with some thing that isn’t water based or use a cotton surface with a sealer or gesso before using this paint. The paint does dry fairly rapidly, so use small amounts when you’re mixing it. Keep in mind, all my comments relate to using dark colored fabric and other people report that it works just fine on white cloth. Easy cleaning and no icky paint smell. ... show more

The paint did a good job for me. I liked the choice of colors. If you need to repaint over a color to change it, you may need several coats. Ex. changing a dark color to a lighter color. Acrylic paint will do this because it is a thicker medium. these fabric paints are a thinner medium. My top is 100% cotton and was used as part of a Starbucks costume. ... show more

You get quite a bit of colors some paint brushes and stencils, seems kind of nice but I heard this paint was best for painting on shoes and I tried that and after the first wear the shoes crack the paint and it started to peel up pretty frustrating
