While I can’t speak at the moment for how it holds up to washing, I absolutely love these paints. I used them to decorate my dogs harness and personalize it. Note please that it doesn’t adhere very well to non-porous surfaces or vinyl like fabrics. However, they have all the glitz of rhinestones and are much easier to replace (believe me, I used both). Additionally, i applied this paint and rather than leave it to dry as a dimensional paint, I smoothed it over the fabric as a background to the area I was painting his name on in a contrasting color. The purple glitter effect is fabulous!!! Once I discovered this, I purchased other glitter paints from this line in other colors and one that is essentially just glitter. I like to tie-dye and I often use crystals or appliques to polish them up a bit. I did one that I thought needed a little more dimension and focus because it was too busy. I still don't like it :-( but this helped a little. It adhered well to the fabric.
