As relatively a beginner to watercolor, this set is a great value for the price, and it comes complete with a good variety of paint colors, paper, and brushes. It is all very easy to use and also take with you wherever you go. The color variety encourages lots of experimentation and fun. The pad of paper is small and not expansive so as to not intimidate the beginner from starting and feeling overwhelmed at filling a big white space. The paint lays down nicely and blends easily. This set is way better than I was expecting. I ordered this for my teenagers art project. I sat and painted with him and was super impressed! Nice variety of colors, set of brushes and the paper in the pad was Nice and thick making the paint easy to work with. Definitely a value for the money

It’s a great gift for anyone. 6 or 76. Sometimes we get tired of board games or choosing a sitcom as a fun family thing to do for 15 minutes before or after homework. I set up water, brushes and a 4”x4” piece of paper with these watercolors. Someone yells out “tree” or “dog” and we all laugh at what we create. I have a box we keep them in - great collection.
