The media could not be loaded. Edit update: after I posted my review, the company reached out to me and sent me a new turner. I took the first one completely apart to find out why it was making that God awful nose. It turned out to be the metal rod grinding against the metal stand holding the cup. This is an easy fix for a great product. I hot glued a piece of felt to the stand and it provides a soft barrier between the two metals. I don’t know if this will hold up long term but so far so good. I have completed 4 tumblers with not a peep out of it since then. Maybe the company will add a barrier because of this post. Happy crafting! This is only my second time using this and now it’s making a weird noise. Getting worse and it’s rotating. A little disappointed by this. The first time I used it, you didn’t hear a thing. You don’t get enough glitter to do a cup. I’m pretty sure I could have made something for the same amount as I paid and it might have been better. ... show more

    • Works great for making resin pens.

I used it so that I could cure multiple resin coated pens at once and it works great. The little silicone stoppers fit great in the pens to keep the resin from going inside. I haven't used the heat gun besides just turning it on to make sure it worked and it heated up well. I haven't used the resin yet either, but it is a small amount so no big deal if it isn't the greatest. When using it to cure pens using UV resin I start the curing on one with a handheld UV flashlight and then put it in the turner and start it turning just in case it isn't cured enough to prevent flowing. Then once I get multiple pens on there I place my UV light above the pens as they turn using a cardboard box that I cut an opening in for the light. It works great and makes my process much quicker and easier. ... show more

I got this because its a bundle with lots of items, it even broguth a tumbler to practice on. loved that. it comes with a bit of glitter in several colors. the machine itself its very nice, it barely makes noise and turns beautifully. for a beginner this is perfect. the only not positive note was the resin. it said to mix 1:1 ratio, however it separated horribly and damaged my tumbler. I had some resin left that I had previously bought and had my tumbler almost ready, on my last coat I used the one from the bundle and it was horrible. other than this the bundle was an excelent buy. ... show more

I bought this so I can have a hobby to do. There was so much in the box I just kept taking things out it is a complete set so you can get going right away. You could do probably about a cup and a half maybe more with the solution that they send you but it's worth its money.

It is a cut turner and is stable, however, the plastic tube turning on the metal makes an AWFUL sound. I had to put stuff between the tube and the metal because it is so loud. I even got a replacement wondering if it was just defective but the other one did it. It works fine, just makes those sounds so I had to fix it to keep it from continually happening. The kit is pretty nice. I love the silicone mat and the silicone brush. I like the mix cups and the two sizes of foam to hold the cup. The glitter is eh but that wasnt the main point of the kit for me anyway. ... show more
