Tape should be stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and should be used within 24 months of date of shipment. Surfaces to which tape is applied should be clean, dry and free of grease, oil or other contaminants. Adhesion to stainless steel: 42 oz/in width. Service temperature range: -35 to 210 degrees F.

This stuff works very well. Do not use what comes with your heat pump. Use this instead.

Bought this to wrap the insulation tubing covering the tubing to the A/C unit. Easy to use. Made it look like a professional job. My only request would be : it'd be nice if the center cardboard core were a little bit smaller- would help with wrapping in tight spaces. After I used a few yards of the tape this problem was resolved. Would have been nice it it had been small enough at the start of the job. I did find I could cut pieces off the roll and wrap them on so it was workable. ... show more

Easy to apply. Unfortunately for me, after applying some on AC outdoor unit insulation, the tape started to unstick itself after 24 hours. I made sure my hands and the target surface (ITSELF) was clean. I've had to backup the areas where it was starting to unstick with 3M White duct tape just in case. Only time will tell how it handles the hot SoCal sun and heat so a long term update will be a follow up to this review. On the upside, it is good looking. ... show more
