As of about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had never heard of a shower steamer, and had no idea what they were for. However, that has all changed. These shower steamers are fragrant round disks that you bring into the shower with you. You can unwrap them and put them on the shower floor in the far corner. Or, if you want to avoid possibly slipping on it, you can put into the included organa bag and hang on the knob, or suction it to the tile. The steam from the shower will release all the fragrance from the disk. These disks are minty smelling with some eucalyptus in there too. You'll be able to breathe in the fumes and completely clear your nasal passages allowing you to breathe deeply and clearly. If you use the shower floor method, you can expect the steamer to only last a couple of showers at the most. Whereas hanging it from the knob or on the tile will probably get you 5 or more uses per steamer. These steamers, now that I know what they are, will definitely make a great gift for all of my male friends and colleagues, and I plan on always keeping some in the house for myself as well. Really let down by these IAGFIWS Shower Steamers. Despite the promise of eucalyptus and mint bliss, the scent was barely noticeable and didn't last through a single shower. Worse yet, they left a slimy residue that was a hassle to clean. Not the pampering experience I had hoped for at all.

I got this 8 pack of eucalyptus and mint shower steamers because I love a little aromatherapy in my shower. The scent of these shower steamers is excellent. What's not so excellent is how quickly they dissolve. Before they dissolve, if you put them in the shower, the smell is wonderful for a minute or so. It's definitely soothing. But it's a short lived experience. My advice is to actually just practice some mindfulness in the shower while you're using these, so that you can get the most out of your experience. Overall, I'd recommend these shower steamers, with the note that the smell doesn't last for a very long time.

They smell great - more mint / menthol than eucalyptus, which I appreciate - and if I somehow didn't know that one was there in the shower with me, I'd be able to tell anyway since I can smell it most of the time I'm taking my shower. I have a weak sense of smell, so that often isn't the case with shower steamers. I put them on a small shelf in my shower, rather than down on the floor, about halfway between elbow and shoulder level. One lasts through my whole shower, and there's a little left at the end that can make it through another shower, though the scent is weaker on the second use. They're easy to open, and the foil makes it so I can save the remainder (versus plastic that you have to tear open). This is one of my two favorite shower steamers I've tried.

Love these shower steamers!! They come in a cute little package that would be great for gifting and they’re individually wrapped inside. If you place them correctly then they’re fragrant enough without being overpowering or getting washed out. Just don’t put them under the water directly or they’ll disintegrate pretty quickly. They’ve been lasting me 2-3 showers

The smell of essential oils and effects of menthol were very weak. I put it indirectly from the main shower stream, but I only briefly, for less than a minute, smelled the essential oils. Unfortunately, it didn't work to clear my sinuses.

LIKES: I thought the smell was fine - - very strong on the eucalyptus scent with little to no minty smell to it. I like eucalyptus so that is fine by me. I like the little hanger system that is comes with. You get a little suction cup and a little mesh drawstring bag in your box. This is nice so that you can hang it on the wall of your shower or tub verse having it on the floor where you could step on it or in the water too much. DISLIKES: I felt like this HAD to be splashed with water to produce any scent. Steam alone did not appear to be adequate to produce scent. I move the little hang bag all around my tub to see where worked best. BEWARE the run-off from the bomb. I had the bomb near the back of the tub where they recommend placing it and all it did was create a hazardous situation where I almost slipped and fell. This was slipperier then soap on the tub floor in my opinion. I had to keep moving the bomb to find that perfect spot where I could still get the smell but wouldn't cause a hazardous shower condition. I think that your shower setup will determine how best to use this product. If you have an extra grippy mat then you might be able to place it on the floor. If you don't then you'll have to find that sweet spot where you won't end up falling in your tub.
