Got the full size version (72”x 72”) to use in a shower stall. The opening is about 36”, so a half width would have worked, but I chose the full size, and tried it as single layer (12 hooks), and folded over (6 hooks). I had an issue with my previous curtain, where it would sometimes swing into the stall - the magnets didn’t help because there is no metal in the stall. I decided to stay with the twelve hooks, since the folds gave a level of rigidity. The material doesn’t have much of an odor, if any. It’s certainly not like the outgassing of PVC. It’s certainly thicker than most, and has a slick and smooth inside, and a textured surface on the outside. It’s not the cheapest choice, but it is higher quality, making it a good value. I certainly would buy it again, and recommend it to others. ... show more

I love how this shower curtain lets the light through so I don't feel like I'm showering in the dark. (There are no lights in my shower, only by the sink.) I also like the magnets at the bottom, which prevent the curtain from coming in against my legs. It is thinner than some other curtains (not too thin though), but to me, that's a good quality as it makes the curtain more flexible and easier to move/stick to the walls to keep all of the water in. I like the fact that the side that is not "3d'ish pebble like looking" is very smooth so my hope is that it will not grow mildew as fast as the textured ones do. I don't have it long enough to say that that's the case but it sure looks like it. Just make sure when you install it that you place it the smooth side towards the shower/bathtub side. It gives enough privacy yet lets the light through. Like it a lot ... show more
