I have had this helmet for just about 1500 miles now and I can say it is not only worth the cost but also the best helmet I have ever had on my head. It does have some wind noise but with all the vents you should expect it to. This is the only helmet I have had that you can actually feel the air flow. There has been a couple of 64⁰F days where I had to shut the vents because my head was cold. It also works great with cardo com units. I have the cardo talkback black with the 45mm speakers and it fits and sounds great. You get what you pay for for the most part and this is one of those times. Also this says men's helmet, I (female) still purchased it and loved it. I ordered a small which fit perfectly. This arrived early which I was amped about and I get tons of compliments on it. I went through multiple options with different vendors and chose the Shoei. I was able to find a store that had multiple different helmet options for me to try.     • Has major air flow on the top of your head!
For 600 bucks this better come as the best and it really was the best. Love the air flow thru the helmet and it is very light weight. Do not need to crack the visor due to fogging of my glasses which is double awesome. Worth the money but put the darn chin pad in for that is very difficult to do.

    • Maybe expensive but worth it if you can upgrade from a less expensive helmet
My favorite helmet I have ever put on. Lightweight, great airflow, reduced wind noise. Price of entry is definitely higher than some helmets. But the comfort and ability to wear for hours at a time effortlessly is worth it.

The helmet I expected is better depending on its price and specifications but after a bad test I was disappointed with much less than expected in its class I bought it in order to reduce the noise, but I was surprised that the noise is very high as any cheap helmet. It is just a waste of money that is not worth the value paid for its quality There are better options in other brands ... show more
