After a ton of research and reading reviews I finally ordered this helmet. I am coming from a scorpion 950 adv helmet and this is everything I was hoping for. I trusted the measurements listed and it worked out for me. Once the helmet is on I can just slightly move it to adjust for glasses and strapped it. I tested it out first thing on the highway and noticed right away that wind sound was cut down dramatically and buffeting was almost gone. I tried it first with all vents closed then opened them one by one to feel the difference. Once the shield was down and all vents open I could actually feel the air flowing. The helmet is much nicer in person compared to pictures. It took a little playing to figure out what direction everything had to be in for the vents to be open and closed. People really took notice to it as well. For some reason people started looking and waving at me. I think the bright white is much more noticeable. I don’t have a lot of experience with different models but if you are considering this one just do it. It was a huge upgrade for me.

I went down to the stores to try on different Shoei helmets and all of them fit fine in a size large but this one was extremely small and it actually hurt my face and hair putting my head into the helmet definitely go a size up if you were a large in the regular Shoei helmet

I've wanted another Shoei for years. This is a Large... I know it's a proper fit.. but it's quite snug. I have a few other brands of helmets... one is a Bieffe full face in an XL... it does blow around a bit on my head. So again, even though this snug? I know it's proper. The visor fogs up a little too, if I breathe hard.. I'll try the other visor soon that it comes with, supposed to be anti fog. Overall? I like it and am satisfied... hopefully the padding "packs out " a bit...for the life of me, I can't snap that anti-fog visor in.. tried and tried and read the directions... Update: I did manage to get the fog shield in, thanks to YouTube.. it has packed out a bit.. is snug, but comfortable

This thing fits (my head) so well. Love that you can flip up the visor and wear goggles without having to remove the visor. Peak does NOT catch wind at highway speeds, almost unnoticeable drag. Peak easily removed if you want to wear it in ‘street’ mode. Lots of great ventilation. Highly recommended.

This helmet was a bit tight at first (this is actually a correct 'sizing' to my head) - but it has loosened a little from on / off cycles and simply wearing and sweating in it (I know..... GROSS right!?). I like the visor feature in case I am riding into the setting sun. As far as head-whip (visor acting as a 'sail' at higher speeds) - I have not experienced this. There is a little 'grabbing' of air that the visor does at 50 mph but it is minimal thanks to the louvers in the bill. The cooling effect (air flow over my dome) at speed in our hot Arizona summer days is minimal. It is better than nothing, but you are still pretty hot. The wind screen is easy to operate while riding. The multi-position ratchet keeps things where you want them to be. I sure appreciated having the screen over my face when a big juicy bug hit me at approx. 50 mph. Without it - I probably would have a mark on my face, or maybe have crashed.

Fit me the best. I tried on many in this price range. After some testing, the visor worked the best with less wind buffeting than others. Would give 5 stars except that for simple, normal street riding and touring, it needs better airflow. More air vents - like about double! Fogging can be an annoying issue, especially in higher humidity with temp differentials. I have to crack the face shield, which sort of works, but not so great in the rain.....

i have a big head, so finding a helmet that doesnt squeeze my melon to the point of getting major headaches and feeling imprisoned is pretty difficult. I find myself wearing this helmet for hours at a time when with previous helmets i could only wear for 20 minutes at a time before feeling strain and stress. I am a bit clausterphobic so im sure that doesnt help, this helmet helps me ride for longer periods of time before having to stop and take a breather from the helmet
