I've put a TON of furniture together and this?? It was fairly easy to assemble by myself- all the bags of hardware are labeled with the part number- how cool AND they tell you how many extras of each part. I DID use my power drill to cut down on time. It's sturdy, good materials and the well engineered. The coaster wheels and locking wheels (2) makes it easy to move and lock in place. Be careful putting the magnet on- I slipped here but it was easy fix to swap it around- the doors align well and stay shut with the magnet. ... show more

The color is just like the picture and it’s truly beautiful in person. However, it was not fun to put together. Ugh! Get ready for at least an hour of your time or more. Figuring out the back and bottom was difficult. Hopefully they will label that better for future customers. The top is not butcher block so be careful to not burn it because it will leave a mark. Whatever finish is on top does burn. The locking mechanism is not strong and it keeps coming open easily. Wish there were plugs on the unit so it would be easier to plug “coffee” bar appliances in. When it came in there were black marks all over the top. Alcohol removed them just fine. Overall it’s a nice add to our pace and we love it. ... show more

Put this together by myself in less than 2 hours ( a girl in her 20s who rlly has never built furniture before). Super easy to follow instructions. Would be quicker with a power drill but my ratchet screw driver was also fine. Very sturdy if everything is screwed in tight. Good quality too! Would recommend for sure! ... show more

I live in a small trailer and we took the couch out and put this instead. What a game changer. It has such a beautiful top to prepare meals and store all my fruit bowls, it looks beautiful, and has tons of storage and I adore the drawer space and extra shelf space for my appliances.     • Once assembled, it does what I need

This table/work station provides ample space for an air fryer and a rice cooker, but assembling it, especially on my own, was irritating hard work. The main problem was the so-called barrel bolts which essentially require that the user mesh a bolt that moves freely and a screw without being able to see the bolt or the end of the screw that is supposed to fit into the bolt. In the two instances when I succeeded, each required 15 nasty minutes. At that point I realized that a quarter inch dowel with thick glue would do the job, so I found bamboo dowels (very strong) on Amazon and used a sticky wood glue that helps to hold the dowels in place. The remaining joints were fitted in a few minutes not counting drying time. The other assembly problem was the top which attaches with five or six screws. Doing this without assistance is very difficult because all the screws must fit in the holes in the top and the top is quite large and heavy and it is difficult to see all the screws at once. I managed it while mashing my index finger, but it would have been much easier and less painful with someone to help. Barrel bolts should be banned by the Geneva Convention. Once assembled this thing looks just the way it does on Amazon. It is quite attractive and functional. Also, the instructions were clear. ... show more

Love this island. Easy to put together for a 66 year old woman!! Was a perfect replacement in our motorhome renovation. Well made and fit our larger items perfectly. Just added some latches for travel to keep drawers and doors from opening Highly recommend.

I love my island it far exceeded my expectations for a small kitchen area. I did not want tables and chairs that take up so much room. Although it takes about 1 hour to put together it was worth it. The table top is easy to clean, stays in place with the lock wheels, enough drawer space to store your favorite utensils for fast and easy assesability. I paired this island with my rust island chairs and it’s absolutely beautiful! As a plus I have more you to maneuver in my kitchen. I happy with my overall purchase, I also like the drop leaf on it, I haven’t had a problem just leaving it up it’s sturdy enough for just 2 people.
