I am reviewing the Shimmer Pink Lipstick with Brown Lip Liner. Set 12. What I first loved is that the lipstick was well sealed. It comes with the lipstick, the brown lip liner, and a sharpener. All three items are good quality. The lipstick is a pink with a slight rose color. The color I received was Set 12. From the product listing photos, Set 8 appears to be a fairly light pink and Set 10 appears to be a pink with a little bit of lavender. Set 12 is a beautiful shade of medium pink that would work with any skin tone. I tried the lipstick two different ways, one with the lip liner (which is a dark brown) and the lipstick and then the second time I used the lip liner both outlining my lips and on the top of my lips and then put the lipstick on top. This gave me a beautiful plum color that works well for darker skin tones. If using it just for a lip liner, you will need to let it dry for a few minutes before putting on the lipstick. Also, it's a good idea to put powder or lip primer to help it stay longer. I want to mention this when buying any lipstick and looking at photos of the models, it very difficult to know exactly what color it will be on you because everybody has different coloring in their lips. The color can appear lighter, darker or a different tone - what is shown on photos is just a guide. I am attaching a photo to try to give you a better idea of the liner and the color on a white piece of paper, although the glitter does not show up in the photo. What makes this lipstick stand out is it has a beautiful glitter in it that looks very natural and good for all ages. The glitter did not fall off on my clothing as the lipstick wore off. I found that along with a lip liner, lipstick with sparkles helps to enhance your lips and make them look larger. You will get a lot of compliments with this lipstick. The lip liner indicates that it is waterproof and that you can use it both for your lips and as an eyeliner. It is waterproof, however, not smudge proof. I tried it both on my lips and as an eyeliner. How much it smudges will depend how oily your skin is and whether you use some type of primer or powder. The lipstick goes on smoothly and may feel a little drying because it is long lasting - although it's not transfer proof. I did look up all the ingredients; one of the ingredients is to make the lipstick last longer on your lips, another is a wax and the other ingredient, Mica, is mineral powder and that also helps it to stay on longer. There is also some emollients and colorants. I did not find anything negative on any of the ingredients including the colorants. I am including a photo of the ingredients. Overall, I thought this was a nice quality lipstick, lip liner and sharpener. It's a beautiful color that sparkles. It is a good value for the set ($8.99 at the time of my order) and it is returnable so it's certainly worth a try. ... show more

Picking which color was probably the only hard part of using this beautiful lipstick! Shimmering, but not too shiny.
