I purchased this case for my iPhone Pro as a temporary substitute until my Vaja case arrives. I've had it for over a month now and I have to say of all the temporary wallet cases I've purchased (about 6 of them) over the years the Shieldon is the best one. The case is very high quality and seems like it would hold up well over the long run. I've pared down the number of cards I carry to one two credit cards, a couple insurance cards and a driver's license. The case holds the cards well without adding much to the bulkiness. Adding more cards seemed to be too much in my opinion but I suspect that a couple more cards could be ok after the case breaks in and conforms to the extra thickness after a couple months. The leather is smooth, but not slick and has a good feel to it. The iPhone snaps firmly into its holder which is made of a slightly pliable but sturdy plastic, is not removable and has a rim that protrudes very slightly above the screen of the phone. The phone is very secure within the holder. Now, let me say I'm a phone case snob and for me the gold standard in a phone case is a case made by Vaja Cases. Had I purchased the Shieldon case 5 years ago instead of other inexpensive cases that I couldn't live with I wouldn't have searched any further and still be happy using Shieldon as my go to case. Unfortunately, after purchasing more low quality cheap cases than I care to remember I found Vaja and I am now a die hard fan and will be replacing the Shieldon as soon as my Vaja case arrives. Love this beautiful dark green phone case. Lovely leather, soft to touch, fits my phone like a glove. Have dropped the phone a few times and no marks or scratched on the case or damage to phone. This is a hand me down from my husband who got a new iphone 15. When this lovely case came I tried to put the phone in the case and is would not fit. I thought I ordered the wrong size - nope, I forgot to take off the old plastic surrounding. Once that was done the phone was snug in its new case. And a reminder that the case has a magnet on the back. It sticks to the dryer when I am changing laundry. Better than losing it in the wash. Very nicely boxed and thank you cards. I love this item. It lifted my phone to ‘business class’ . It not only looks lovely it is lovely. Real leather real grain beautifully made and appear it will last the life of my phone. It also is more than a nice protective cover for my Iphone as it provided spaces to store business cards and in side it has some protective plate which is not visible but prevents the possibility of those that can swipe your phone with a card data collector and take its content as you walk past. His old case had a magnetic flap on the side and it kept catching on everything. This one doesn’t have a flap and he is very pleased with it.
