I wish I could give this sweater more stars, I really love it. It looks just like the photo and is very soft. I normally buy a size 4X from a well known clothing store and the sizing of this sweater fits just as I would expect that other brand name's clothing to fit. I am 5' 7" and my body type includes some really big arms and a huge butt. Other people with this body type will be pleased to know that the sleeves are ample enough to fit with comfort and the length is enough to nicely drape over my back side. This is a nice heavier knit that will keep you warm all winter. The sleeves are nice and long so there won't be any cold wrists this winter. Really, it feels like snuggling up in your favorite blanket. As soon as I got it I put it through the washer and dryer. It came out of the laundry even softer than it went it. It still retained its shape and color, and all of the seams are intact. I actually checked all they seams and they are securely sewn with a generous seam allowance. I don't expect this one to pull apart or fray after a few washings. It is very well made. If this was available in other colors I would most likely buy another one. I always strive to give honest and objective reviews point out the pros and cons of every product I review with details buyers might find helpful in their personally situation. Pros: It's warm, soft and it doesn't scratch. I find the fit comfortable. It's surprisingly thick and well made. It's designed to stay open and not close. The length is fairly true to the image of the product. Cons: The fit is a bit small, and I ordered my normal size. If I'd ordered a size up, I think it would close in the front while I'm sitting. But I bought it to keep my arms warm. I recommend going a size larger if your want it to hang closed while standing or sitting. The pockets are my biggest gripe. They're up WAY too high on the sweater. I have to bend my elbows at a deep angle to put my hands in the pockets. So, I don't expect to be using them to carry anything around. Overall, I recommend this if you're looking for something casual to wear around the house to stay warm with ability to take it off quickly if you get warm. Something women over 50 are well-acquainted with. It can also be worn on a quick trip to the store. Personally, I don't think I'd wear it to the office or out to dinner. Although, it some might want to keep it in the office for those days when the office is cold and you need something to warm you up. ... show more

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I find the sweater both comfortable and flattering. The material isn't the softest but definitely not the roughest either. I have sensitive skin and the material doesn't bother my skin at all. I like how the sleeves taper to give it a more snug feel and I find that it keeps me warm. Granted, it's summer so we'll see come winter. But, overall, the sweater was definitely worth the price ... show more

I originally bought this cardigan sweater in the purple. I purposely bought it larger after reading some of the reviews. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be tight on my upper arms. It has very good sized pockets which really came in handy when I was going in and out of little shops because I could put my water bottle in a pocket to free up my hand. I like that this is a knit sweater and not one of those "sweaters" that end up being made from tshirt material. It is warm, and is great for a spring "jacket" when it is too warm for a coat, but just right when you need a little something more than a shirt. Easy on and off for those times. The purple is a beautiful deep rich purple. I loved this so much, I have purchased it in the blue and in the gray. I am going to purchase it in the dark red, too. ... show more

I'm really pleased with this sweater. I'm 5'3 1/2 and weigh around 224. I normally order 3x in most things but with women's clothing you just never know. I wanted something a little big but not too big and I wanted it to cover my behind. Yeah, there's a lot back there, so I ordered a 4x. It's perfect! Fits well, covers me like I wanted.     • Nice sweater but sleeves too short

I like the chunky, over-sized feel to this sweater. It is warm and the knit-design is nice. The quality is ok- not the very best but it seems like it should last through a few seasons of wear. My main complaint is the length of the sleeves. They are about 2 inches too short on me (5'9). I don't usually have this problem with similar sweater styles. When I wear it, I will have to roll up or scrunch the sleeves to make it a 3/4 sleeve so that it isn't obvious that the sleeves are too short. I also wish it was a few inches longer. It doesn't quite cover my butt so I won't be wearing it with leggings as I intended. ... show more
