A large tool box was on the Christmas list. I was very happy with the quality and price of this tool box. If it came in pink I think I could use it for crafting supllies. The various sizes of storage spaces makes it very versatile. You can separate into two pieces if you only need to take a portion of your tools, but if everything is needed it has wheels and a second handle that comes up similar to luggage. It is easy to move around. I wonder if there shouldn't be latches to secure the top to the bottom section; but maybe once tools are inside they wouldn't be needed. ... show more

I bought this toolbox to help organize my baking/decorating supplies rather home improvement tools and I will say it does definitely get the job done. The images don’t really specify how many parts it comes in but it does detail it in the description having a second tray within the top compartment. The compartment on the front of the top section is also completely removable and some compartments are adjustable within it to suit your needs. In terms of durability I can see where this toolbox can be a problem for those lugging heavy duty materials and frequent movement. The hinges for the top lid are slightly flawed and pop out if opened too rough but they pop right back into place. Haven’t had anything break as of yet but the material is of questionable durability, the entire piece is seemingly made of plastic. The size is just about the size of a carry on suitcase, not small but not particularly large either. Its size allows for storage without the cost of space. Due to its trays and multiple compartments it does fit a lot of tools and small items, making it perfect for those that just want to organize any home tools/screws. The third wheel in the front allows for easy movement without necessarily tilting it onto the two main wheels and the optional extension of the top handle allows for better movement control but be wary about weight distribution within the toolbox. Due to the type of plastic the hinges will only support so much so be careful not to overload the toolbox. Overall I greatly recommend this toolbox for those that are doing craftwork and smaller tool work in homes/apartments. I would rate it a 4.5, losing half a star mainly due to the nature of its durability. The toolbox has the potential to work well for those that move around a lot and can serve other uses than just lugging around handyman tools. I really like this toolbox. I bought it for my piano touch-up business so I could have a more mobile workstation and so I would have a toolbox that would hold all I would need for a touch-up job. The only thing that I wish were different about it, is that it would be deeper by 3 inches. The height and width are perfect for what I need, I just need it to be a little more deep, especially in the pull out bin on the bottom. It is put together well and has tons of space. For what I can tell, it is made out of high quality plastic. I feel that it is more sturdy than my plastic "craftsman" toolbox that I have been using. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs a mobile toolbox/workstation. I would also buy this again if I had to. ... show more

    • bad value, absolute trash DO NOT BUY!!!
I run maintenance for my company and decided to try one of these rolling "packout" things. Don't get this particular one it is very thin weak plastic the latches don't function properly, the hinge on the top box is constantly coming apart i will end up modifying it to make it work better not properly, but better than it currently does. When i load it up with tools the sides start to distort. The handle is too short for me and i am not tall 5'10. the compartments are awkward sizes. Maybe it is just me but i would not buy this again. Yes it is less expensive, but it is not really worth it. I hate leaving bad comments normally i won't say anything, but i had to get this out. ... show more

Well, I finally purchased this wheeled toolbox even though there were quite a few bad reviews for it. I agree with most of them that the plastic is thin and cheap. My first one came with the top part cracked in the corners and one of the buckles on the front broken off. I received a replacement very quickly (thanks to Amazon's great customer service). The second one was in great condition. I wanted the toolbox for our most needed tools that we keep on the upper level of our house. This box has many compartments and areas to keep my tools neatly organized and easy to access (Before, we had them in a large toolbag, and I could never find what I needed. It was also very heavy to lug around.) Now, my tools are organized and I can easily pull them from room to room as needed. Only time will tell if the wheels will last. I tried not to weigh the box down too much, but it is still fairly heavy with the few tools that is in there. Overall, I like it. I wish the company would make one like this with a heavy duty plastic and stronger wheels though. I really love the organization factor of it!!! ... show more
