I like this and I will be buying more. It's a pretty solid design. With that said, I can get 50% more storage by just putting the cases on the shelf BUT this is a FIFO system, which I need more than cases. Historically the household forget to rotate them and then we have expired cans. Pros: Pretty solid construction and works well. Cons: This FIFO takes up more space. Please note, no squirrels were harmed while writing this review, this time.

I have already purchased the larger version of this customizable can storage rack and liked it so much I purchased this smaller one as well. It is very easy to set up and seems to be made of good quality plastic. I love the first in first out aspect of the organizer and the ease of seeing what I need to replace. It’s so nice not to have to move cans to get to certain other cans. Fills in all the boxes for my can storage.

Overall it was an absolute bitch to get together. Snap on part in place and another pops apart. Then there's the joints in the top and bottom rails that the upright dividers can't pop into the joint in the rails so you have to remove all the previous uprights and move them one space further down which works until you run into another place where the upright lands at a rail joint and so on and so on but once you finally get it all together after hours of fiddeling around, it is sturdy and works welll. I sugest making the rails in one piece with no joints so it isn't such a pain in the ass to assemble.

This first in, first out can rack is extremely sturdy and works great if you have several of the same kind of can. I’ve got 3 teens plus I cook often for church and school, and we live in the country, so I regularly have several of the same kind of cans on hand and got tired of trying to hand rotate them in the pantry. This system does take up some space, but it’s easy to fill and easy to see what you have plenty of and what you need to stock up on. The system is very sturdy, but takes a bit of patience to put together. However once it’s done, I’m not expecting to have to move it. A rubber mallet helps tremendously with tightening it all at the end. Holds larger diameter fruit cans well and also takes taller spaghetti sauce cans. Be warned that the six slots shown are for the small soup cans only, so you can get 5 soup cans and one row of tuna in a large 6 slotted set. They’re completely interchangeable so I bought 3 sets and had 2 rails left over in the end BUT I also have slots for everything I use and it was worth it. I LOVE using my pantry now! So nice to have it organized!

I ordered two of these for my pantry, hoping that they would help me bring order to the chaos of my tall and deep utility shelves (5 shelves, 72”tall, 48”wide, 24”deep). I live in a rural area and have been keeping a lot more non-perishable foods on my shelves recently to compensate for local shortages. It is really difficult for me to properly rotate so many canned goods, and especially small cans like tomato paste and tuna fish are easily hidden by other items or lost at the back. Pros: 1. the units themselves seem quite sturdy and well made, and they work exactly as intended. 2. You can stack the units if you have the room, and you can put a board on top of them to stack other items on top without worrying that they’ll break. 3. They will make your pantry look very tidy and organized, IF you have a large pantry and aren’t pressed for space. Cons: 1. they are moderately difficult to snap together, especially in place on the shelf. 2. In order to get everything properly clicked together, you need to build the unit on the floor and then move it to the shelf. It can be a real challenge to maneuver these built units into small but deep spaces, like closets. 3. They definitely *will not* allow you to use your space more efficiently, and will significantly decrease your capacity in limited storage areas. They actually take up a lot of room on your shelves, both vertically and horizontally. My experience: I put a single unit on one 48 by 24 inch shelf, and they only accommodated about half of the cans that had been formerly standing on that shelf in teetering piles. I wound up putting a board on top so I could use that 6 inch gap for the small things like tuna fish and tomato paste that I already struggle to rotate. This makes these items somewhat harder to get to than they were before (especially towards the back), but because they’re the only cans that will fit into that short a space, maybe they won’t get lost as easily. I stacked cans all around the sides of the dispenser, but I still had quite a lot leftover. I estimate that installation of the Cansolidator Pantry Plus unit diminished my shelf’s storage capacity by over a third. My conclusion: I will keep the units but try to find another place (not in my pantry shelves) to stack them. I will probably stack and mount them on a furniture dolly.

These shelves are easy snapped together, no tools required for assembly. The good part about these shelves is, you can add-on to them from either side or from the top.
