Not my favorite liquid lipstick. It's a tube with a sponge-type applicator that makes applying it exactly where you want it a little difficult. The product had a matte finish, but I didn't find it lasted too long without needing to reapply. I ate lunch and it was gone by the end of eating. Overall, a swing and a miss for me - I expect a product that is "long-lasting" to last all day.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product goes on very nicely. I like the deep color but I feel the sponge soaks up too much of it. I can’t tell how much I need to squeeze out. Otherwise it’s great and leaves my lips moisturized.

Applies to the applicator quickly and easily however, you really have to get the applicator wet before application, otherwise it's not noticeable. Lasts a decent amount of time.

I absolutely love the SHEGLAM Pout Pillow Cushion Matte Liquid Lipstick in "Hit The Hay"! It feels so silky and smooth when applied, making it a pleasure to wear. Once it dries, it’s transfer-proof, which is a huge plus. While I wish it lasted a bit longer, the comfortable texture and beautiful matte finish make it one of my favorite lipsticks. The lipstick is liquid format in a squishy tube. The liquid lipstick had an interesting ball sponge type applicator. I had to squeeze the tube a few times to make sure enough product came out. The color is a matte chocolate color. The lipstick is a bit drying so I had to prep my lips. The color is buildable. It has an airbrushed look. The formula is okay but I didn't like the color on my lips. It looked too much like my actual lip color.

This lipstick has a nice formula and the color is rich (though it looked a bit darker in person than expected). My main issue is the cushion applicator—it’s thicker, which makes precise application tricky, especially around the curves of the upper lip. That said, it’s not bad for the price. Probably not my favorite, but a solid backup option.
