I was excited to buy ear pads that will not flake and stick to my face and airplane. So far these haven't done that, but they do have other issues. The sound isolation is not as good as Bose ear pads. You lose quite a bit in fact, especially if you have a loud engine. The foam liners don't fit the A20 at all, seem generic and probably wouldn't fit my X either. Assume you'll discard those right away. Finally, the biggest issue is the poor fitment of the pads. They often fall off the headset because they are not as tight as the Bose ones. I'd return these if I wasn't past my return window. ... show more

These would be great if they didn’t keep coming off. And they’re very difficult to attach. Imagine pushing back in a few minutes and for the umpteenth time you pull out your headset to find a cushion has jumped onto the floor and it’s a minimum five minute struggle to stretch and wiggle the thin wimpy rubber membrane into position to get it into place. Only for half of it to come off again when you try to put it on your head. If this sounds like something you’re not into, look elsewhere. The leather itself is an improvement on Bose and it’s slightly deeper so there is more space for your ears inside the cup. Would be five stars if they stayed in place. ... show more

Quality of replacements is very nice. They feel very nice against head. Had the same problem others had with them falling off and the hassle of trying to get them back on. Solution so far was to get two skinny rubber bands that I got out of the combo set from amazon. Looped them twice to fit in slot after I put ear cushion replacement back on. I had to replace the original ear cups because they were peeling from use so I went looking for new ones. The new cups are very comfortable, although about once a month when I take my headset out of its case, one of them comes off. I suspect it loosens from the movement in the case, but I never experienced this issue with the originals. It’s not the most annoying thing but wish they would just stay on.
