I used to buy multiple bars of this soap per month, but the price is just way too unreasonable now. If you use it as a shower gel replacement, it’ll last about two weeks for one person. I have very sensitive skin and it’s great for that and can even be used on your face, but I’d definitely look for something else unless you have a ton of money to waste. ... show more

    • Could Well Be The Best of the Shea Moisture Line. At Least For Me.
My wife and I have been big fans of this brand of soaps since we first ran across them at our local pharmacy. They had a buy one get one sale going on. I didn’t like them at first because that’s a big old bar of soap, and I didn’t like even the sale price for a bar of soap, but when the darn thing lasted over two months with daily use by both of us I got over it. I’ve also been using it for shaving. I just lather up, shave and finish with a little coconut oil. When she found this on special here I decided to try it. I’ve been using coconut oil as even a sunscreen lately and have been really happy with what it does to my skin. My wife likes that part, so I like it a lot. This week I’ve been using this new one and I like it even better. My skin has never felt dry after shaving with these soaps, but with this one I feel like the shave is a little closer and I hardly need the coconut oil after, and I use double edged blades. I really didn’t think I’d find a particular blend of this brand of soap that would be that much different, but for me this is different. This soap is quite good to both have & use regularly. It does hold quite a high ranking level for moisturizing and in turn keeps you from suffering dry skin. Strongly recommend this soap to everyone. But, be very careful who the retailer/dealer may be that is filling your order. Check & double check as to where the retailer/dealer is located. I ordered two bars of this soap on March 8th & finally received it today - 4/9/20. It arrived in a poorly cheaply constructed cardboard box with nothing but the bars of soap inside, no packing of any sort. It was shipped out of Frankfurt Germany according to the address tag on the box, then, via the dealer in the UK it slowly but finally made its way here. Be very aware of the location of the retailer/dealer you will be receiving your order from. If this had been a very special/custom hand made order, yes, I could easily understand an extended amount of time involved before receiving it. But nothing more than two bars of soap?!?!     • Amazing soap! One of Shea Moisture’s best!
I love Shea Moisture soaps. They are the best because they lather well, don’t dry out the skin, are fragrant, and have all natural ingredients. I think this is one of the best bar soap brands out there. I’ve tried the Green Tea, Raw Shea, and the Coconut Oil soaps. While I love the Green Tea and Raw Shea soap bars, I absolutely adore the Coconut Oil soap bar because the way my hands feel after washing them with it is lovely. The smell is not overpowering, yet very clean. It is definitely a unisex type of soap great for both men and women. I love the white color and it just leaves my hands and whole body feeling pampered. It is expensive at almost $10.00 per 8 ounce bar, but it is definitely worth it! I bought the 8 oz bar from SUNDANCE Beauty and had a generally decent experience. It took about a week for the purchase to arrive and there was some debris and small pieces of a hard material stuck on the bar of soap itself because the packaging was a little bit open of the product, but, other than that, the soap itself was amazing. I will definitely order the Shea Mousture Coconut Oil bar soap again, but it may be from a different seller. ... show more

It wasn't my first choice because there are two scents I really dislike, vanilla & coconut! I stay away from products that reek of these scents. I was shopping online looking for ShaeMoisture's body wash or at least their Black soap. Could not find either of them. None left on here, Amazon, or ShaeMoisture's personal website. So ended up getting the soap in the pic of the Virgin Coconut Oil. So far, I really really like it!! I love that, at least the products I have purchased) have a pleasant scent NOTHING overpowering at all. Also, they make your skin feel squeaky clean without leaving your skin drying *which I hate!) Not with this soap though. I got it by default but I'm glad I did!! :) ... show more
