Hands down my favorite acrylic markers for painted rock decoration. I love the bright, opaque colors that don't require continuous rewriting for coverage. They dry quickly, which makes it easy to craft quickly without fear of smudging or accidentally blending colors as you create layers. Even on rough pebbles or stones, the marker tips have held their shape and haven't gotten fuzzy or frayed. I bought these Sharpie Creative Markers (Fine Tip, Assorted, 12 Count) to use to color my metal stamped impressions. I LOVE THESE MARKERS so much more than the (insert brand name here) enamel markers (which are also water-based acrylic paint markers). The tip of these Sharpie markers easily goes into the stamped impression, so I no longer have to fight the angled marker tip to get into the impression, and I’m not wasting paint coloring the outside of the impression because the dang angled tip won’t get in there. Additionally, these markers come in so many more colors than the 4 colors of the (insert brand name here) enamel markers. I purchased white paint marker from other makers before and they were a real pain. They would not work reliably. They would usually work the first time, but after that, who knows. These are a different design and are fantastic. Additionally, they come in multiple colors, not just white or blank.

I use these every single day when I'm working to doodle. The colors are bright and they are mostly full coverage. The lighter colors do struggle to cover the bolder colors. Need these in a super fine point for small details!

These markers are mess-free, easy to use, and have a nice assortment of colors. I feel they are more suitable for kids, however. I’m a somewhat experienced rock painter, looking for some more precise pens (their fine point is perfect) but these just do not have the coverage or ability to lay down a thicker coat or make a darker shade at all.
