These are my favorite highlighters. Can be used as either a chiseled or broad tip, depending on how you hold the pen. The retractable feature is very handy and convenient for two reasons. 1. Slows down the drying 2. Prevents accidental marking of clothes and surfaces.

Retractable function is really nice
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)

I use a lot of highlighters (to emphasize information to clients and to indicate where to sign, etc.) I really like the retractable tip - because you don't have to keep track of a cap and it makes it easy to store pen tip down (which results in longer life) because the tip isn't exposed.

Got unlucky with a defective batch
Size: 5 Count (Pack of 1)
Pattern Name: Highlighters
Maybe it's because of the cold temps and the overall shipment/distribution/exposure to cold? Or just an unlucky batch in general? Not sure. Normally I have nothing but good experiences with Sharpie brand products, but the order of highlighters I just received had all of them dried out and not working
. I had no choice but to put in for a return and run out to the office store to get some more since I couldn't wait another 1-2 days for a replacement to arrive. This won't stop me from ordering again though. Sometimes thing just happen

I hate caps. They fall on the floor, roll away to hidden or unreachable places. These highlighters are a reliable breeze to use. And you'll need a box, so the tips are fully saturated for bright markings.

I have used sharpies most of my life, especially in academics. I now use them to hwlp me keep track in my paper books/work. THey do not "bleed", are discreet, and have a good shelf life. The retractable tip ones are, IMHO the best, but I'm in my 60s

After using these retractable highlighters, I’ll never go back to the standard removable cap version. These are much more convenient. They’re thicker than standard highlighters, about twice as thick as a pencil, but I think that allows them to hold more ink. They seem to last a long time. The ink wil
l only smear if it is used on wet writing. Once it swears, it doesn’t take long to correct itself. It is more of a flourescent yellow, and it dries quickly and retains its brightness. This allows for greater contrast between the ink and the text, making it easier to read. I have tried other colors, and yellow is still the only color that isn’t too dark. I would like to use other colors for successive readings of a text, but for now I’ve given up on that, and exclusively use yellow. Because it is retractable, all it takes is a quick click to keep the nib from drying out. The click is rather loud, about twice as loud as a Pilot G2, so they may not the best for use in a library, but they’re fine for use in a coffee shop. With that in mind, while there is still room for improvement, the one-handed action, not having to replace the cap after each use, and the price, makes these the best highlighters on the market.
