I’m an amateur carver, so probably the wrong person to judge this tool. But, it came as advertised, obviously hand, forged, does need sharpening, which I’m not very good at. So overall, I think it’s a really good tool, and definitely worth the money.

I have only played with it a little but looks well forged and sharp. Only problem initially noticed was the metal rings on the handle just fell off when I took it out of the package but a little epoxy took care of that.
