It Works.... but it could be better
We have been on the look9ut for a portable hitting net. This Sharellon meets the description of a portable hitting net, but just barely. Notes- - Set - up requires 2, and ideally 3 people. The set-up isn't super difficult, but it is a bit awkward. Make sure that you have a mallet or hammer handy for driving in the spikes. - Securing the spikes into the ground is an absolute must. They must be spaced out correctly to prevent the net from sagging. The product page shows that this net can be set-up indoors or in a garage. I am not sure how since you have to drive in at least 11 spikes. - The directions are awful... which is made even more difficult by the fact that they give two extra sections of poles. - The net is just too small for most hitting activities. It is hard to fault it, because they tell us it is 13' long... but just know.... it is nearly impossible to pitch to a hitter in it. It can work for tee work and soft toss.... but... regular hitting nets work nearly as well (and are much easier to set up).
