    • Fluff everywhere
I ordered the Minky Bamboo Hay! kit because I just couldn’t handle color/pattern matching myself at the moment, so was willing to pay the high cost just to not be faced with those decisions. Unfortunately, I did not save as much effort as I thought I would. I’ve never seen so much fluff resulting from cutting and sewing fabric before in my life. It got everywhere. I’ll be sweeping it up for months. I woke up the next day with puffy, dry eyes from it, and I am sure I even breathed in a fair amount. Also, the directions said I was supposed to use spray adhesive to attach the batting. What? Spray chemicals on a blanket made for a baby? That, and the horrid amount of fluff, made me worried about the overall quality and safeness of the fabric. Will not be buying another. ... show more

    • Backing doesn’t match suggested measurements. I now need to find a different material for the back.
Took the time to cut the fabric to the suggested size they recommended. And the back is too small. So i either cut off several inches in length and width or find a new backing

    • Fabric in kit wasn't correct
Did not have the right fabric to follow the pattern in the box. Didn't give enough of the grey polka dot to make all 4 of the 2.5" strips. Disappointing after I found a great video on YouTube to help with creating the blanket. Bought this for my sister-in-law's first baby gift.
