The vise is fine but all the plastic covers arrived in a bag and were very greasy. Wasn't sure if there was a problem with that, but after washing/drying them, they were less messy to deal with. The one to protect the bottom (circular, but one portion is straight and it has a hole to go over the nut) of it doesn't fit no matter how hard you work it. They shouldn't even provide this piece since it's useless. Also, no gloves were included, but that it not a problem for me.

I dont know I did not try it yet but it looks cute though. Kidding, I am planning to cut some bicycle stem pipes nothing serious. It looks it is going to work. I'll let you posted. Here is a photo for comparison: A piano, a violin, a monkey and formula 1!

The holes used for assembly did not quite match corresponding holes. Had to drill them wider/ Parts of the paint interfered with other parts and had to be filed away. Starting screws in their matching threads was difficult, partly because of paint and partly due to the profile of the screws. Once I got all this fixed, the vise worked fine.

The media could not be loaded. Umm. So even though I can probably make due with just the 1 screw in, I'm really scratching my head that the 2nd screw broke... Got sheared from the pressure I was putting on it to screw it on. Since that screw was supposed to go there I'm not sure what to say about it. Bad quality. We'll see how the rest of it is. Update: though I'm still not happy that the screw got sheared off while trying to put it together, I can say I have managed fine with just the 1 screw in. I don't do heavy duty work on it so it will suffice going forward. The seller, having seen my negative review, contacted me and offered me a refund. I appreciate that they stand by their product. Be aware that for my purposes which isn't too heavy duty, this vise works well even with just the 1 screw in. Given that the seller was willing to replace or refund, I'm going to bump up my rating. It works well enough that I'm still pleased with it.

I bought this one only to install the solid tire on my electric scooter. Otherwise, it's impossible to install the tire with my bare hands. For this purpose, it works fine. Just wish it is slightly larger. I had to try several times as the vice cannot hold the wheel and tire completely when I use lots of force. Anyway, it finally worked out. I will do it again if my front tire is flat.

This appears to be a sturdy, well made little vice, but I can't say how it will perform because the bolts that were supplied are not the right size (or the holes were not machined correctly). I can't actually use it until I get to the hardware store and buy some bolts that will actually fit. I tried to get support but the link says this product is not elligible. I think it will be a decent vice once I can get it set-up, but it's one more thing added to my very long to-do list and and additional few dollars tacked onto the price. Oh, and the little protectors that are include are crap and make it feel cheap - they would have been better off not even including them. Update - seller reached out to me to make it right, I will update if/when there is a resolution. I hope they can get the right bolts to me as that would make this a good buy.
