I needed this for my outdoor fit pit and it works great. The tongs are strong and grabs large pieces of wood nicely without much flex at all and they’re long enough to keep you far enough away from the fire. I was a little worried that the 2 piece poker would flex but it’s very solid. The length is perfect and there’s no flex to it. The handle on the poker is nice and smooth so you get a good grip on it, while the handles on the tongs have smooth edges they are flat so they’re not the most comfortable but it does the job. Overall just what I needed and I’m very happy with it.

The log grabber is worth the money on this one. I have a fireplace insert and inherited some tools with the purchase of the house but a poker, broom, and shovel are limited in keeping a good fire going. The tongs have been great and really help to position logs on the fire when the temperature is too hot to get close to it. The heat put off by inserts is pretty impressive and using only a poker can make it difficult to manage a proper fire. The poker is nice and sturdier than expected but the tongs are by far the best part of the set.
