It is light weight and the colors & prints are great. I will love making a piece quilt by hand from them. Thank you.

Depends on application—not for fine quilting
Color: Multicolored-56pcs
It is very hard to judge fabric purchased online, and even harder to judge its quality by the reviews, because, obviously, people buy it for different applications. I purchased mine to make simple quilted letters, and I wanted ready-made squares in a variety of colors. For that purpose, the set is fine. Some of the prints are fairly vibrant, but most are not. The variety of colors and prints is good. The quality of the fabric, particularly on the very light prints, is poor. Like many other people, I do not like the price I have to pay for high quality quilting fabric. However, even though the cost may seem high, I am not about to put hours and hours into a quilt using fabric that is thin, poor quality material. Some of the prints aren also not squared on the precut pieces (if you care about that). I would not use this material, even in a utility quilt. You are much better off to go to a fabric store and buy something that you determine the fabric weight (and are sure it’s not transparent!). (You would be better off, with a scrap quilt, to visit the thrift store and look for fabrics or clothing that would work.) With that said, for what I purchased it for, it is just fine. It would be fine for other small crafts involving fabric too (e.g., small dolls, wreaths, etc.). ... show more

Too thin
Color: Black
I love the colors but too thin for quilting. I like them a little thicker.
