My back is always sore and feels uneven, I use this mat it wakes up my back muscles and relaxes them. Good for posture. I got the level 3 and it does take your breath away at first but it is worth it for the muscle relief.

The mat itself is very cute and well made. I was surprised by the sharpness of the spikes and was intimidated to have my first Shakti experience. However, it wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be - in fact the longer I laid on it the more it felt like it was scratching an itch I didn’t know I had. Overall a very relaxing experience and I look forward to incorporating this into my nighttime meditation and yoga practice.

This is one of my favorite simple things to have on hand. It is so relaxing and I love the intense relaxation it gives. I fall asleep every time I use it because I am so relaxed. I use it mainly for my back, but I’ve also stood on it and laid on it on my belly, thighs…it helps with soreness from workouts or random bumps that need some extra blood flow to the area to heal and recover. It’s so nice and worth every penny in my opinion. My husband loves it too.

I am addicted to this. I bought the beginning level (yellow) and the pillow. The initial pain was minimal and went away after a minute or two. I wear a t-shirt. After 10 minutes I find I need to adjust my position because it has release so much tension and stiffness that I can stretch out even more. After 20 minutes I am so relaxed that I don't want to get up. It has reduced hip, leg, and back pain. I noticed improvement after one use. I look forward to using it everyday. I believe I walk straighter. I recommend this to everyone. .

I bought the advanced one, never owning any of the Shakti Mats before. I chose the advance one because my therapist said he falls asleep on it, so I thought it can’t be that prickly. Boy was I wrong. Someone had wrote it’s like sleeping on a bed of nails. That is 100% accurate. I can only do about 15 min at a time before bed, but boy do I sleep like a baby. I love it!
