  • Nice glasses
Color: Navy Silver
I think they are stylish and like I like that they polarized

  • Attractive sunglasses
Color: Navy Silver
These are attractive sunglasses that, while YMMV, fit well. The frames seem.robust and the lenses are distortion-free! They are priced very competitively when compared within their peer group.

  • Great value
Color: Navy Silver
Pretty good quality for a low cost. Lenses are clear and crisp, the frames are solid. Sony feel bad about wearing these anywhere.

  • Lightweight Comfort Meets Effortless Style Lightweight Comfort Meets Effortless Style
Color: Navy Silver
I’ve gone through quite a few pairs of sunglasses over the years, and the Shady Rays Navigator really stood out right away. The first thing I noticed when I put them on was how incredibly lightweight they feel. Sometimes metal frame sunglasses can feel heavy or press on the nose after a while, but these sit so comfortably that I almost forget I’m wearing them, even after a full day out. The stainless steel frame gives them a sleek, elevated look that instantly makes any outfit feel more put-together. They have that classic navigator style that never goes out of fashion but still feels modern and fresh. I’ve worn them with everything from casual athleisure to a more dressed-up look, and they fit right in every time. What really impressed me, though, is the polarized lens quality. The glare reduction is noticeable right away, especially while driving or spending time near water. Everything looks clearer and more defined, without that harsh brightness that can strain your eyes. On really sunny days, I feel like my eyes are actually protected, not just shaded, which makes a big difference in overall comfort. Another thing I appreciate is how well they balance style and function. A lot of sunglasses lean heavily one way or the other, but these manage to deliver both. They look great, feel great, and perform exactly how you want them to when you’re out in strong sunlight. Overall, this is one of those purchases that feels worth it from the moment you start using it. Lightweight, protective, and effortlessly stylish, these sunglasses have quickly become my everyday go-to pair. Overall, this pair is a great value for money. ... show more

  • Fits well on your face Fits well on your face
Color: Navy Silver
Awesome quality, Shady Ray navigators, my son wanted a new pair of sunglasses and these were a perfect fit for his style. They are comfortable around the head and ears, and the lenses are nice and clean. They are easy to clean and adjust. They absolutely help in glare reduction, especially on a boat or the lake where you got the glare from the sun and the water although they are more expensive than what I would prefer to spend on a teenager. They are very good quality and so I’m willing to make that purchase because it is a very good value for the money that you are spending. ... show more

  • Absolutely love them Absolutely love them
Color: Navy Silver
These are definitely more expensive than what I usually buy in sunglasses, but after wearing them, I can see why. At around $70, they’re a big step up from my usual $20 pairs—and the difference is noticeable. This particular set is the classic aviator style. They do come with a small carry bag. They come in several different frame colors and lenses, so you can choose the color combination you prefer. The blue polarized lenses do a great job reducing sun glare, making them comfortable to wear even in bright conditions, like driving home during West facing traffic after work. They’re lightweight and sit really well on my face without pinching my nose, ears, or temples. One thing I really like is how thin and low-profile they are. I can easily wear them with a hat without them feeling bulky or pressing into my head or competing with ear space with my hat. My cheaper sunglasses tend to be thicker and get uncomfortable after a while, especially with a hat, but these don’t have that issue. The frame has a slight give in the material and can bend but still hold their shape after, which makes them durable for all day wear. They look sleek, and I like how I look wearing them. Overall, these have become my go-to pair. They’re comfortable, effective, and feel like a worthwhile upgrade if you’re used to budget sunglasses. ... show more

  • Feels Like a Budget Pair at a Premium Price Feels Like a Budget Pair at a Premium Price
Color: Navy Silver
These sunglasses do look good. The blue lenses give them a nice appearance from the outside and also create a cool tone when looking through them. The lenses are definitely polarized and provide very good clarity, which is a plus. I also liked the small detail of the Shady Rays name etched across the top, which gives them a little extra style. Where they lose me is in the overall feel. They are very lightweight, but not in a way that feels premium. Instead, they come across as cheap. Honestly, they remind me of the kind of sunglasses you might find at a gas station for $9.99, except these cost 7 times more. Plus, durability will definitely be an issue long-term. For me, the value just is not there. If you are considering them because of the brand’s warranty, that was not much of a selling point for me either. While Shady Rays does offer up to two replacement pairs, there is still a $14.89 charge each time for standard lenses. Paying a higher price upfront for the glasses and then still having to pay again to use the warranty feels like a poor tradeoff. There are better options out there at this price point. I would rather buy a less expensive pair with similar or better build quality and simply replace them myself if they get broken or lost. ... show more

  • A nice balance of form, function, and value in a classic design. A nice balance of form, function, and value in a classic design.
Color: Navy Silver
I’ve recently become a big fan of Shady Rays because I think they’ve hit (with some models) the perfect middle ground of form, function, and price. I’m happy to say that these aviator style sunglasses hit the mark. Pros: - they came in a box for protection. The glasses themselves have a wrapper over the glasses (protecting the lenses), along with a wrapper on one of the temples. Then they put that in a microfiber pouch. - the microfiber pouch doubles to clean the lenses. - for me and my head, the fit was near perfect. The temples hug my face without being too tight, the temples fit behind my ears without being too tight or too loose, and the rubber nose pieces feel perfect, without letting the glasses slide off my face. - the lenses are shatter-resistant with an anti-scratch coating. - the frames are light, and feel like you’re not even wearing glasses. - they adhere to the classic aviator style. - lost or broken guarantee! You can get a replacement, and if you buy through Amazon, you don’t even need to register your purchase. Cons: - none ... show more
