  • Vary good quality spray paint can
Color: Tan Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Man out all of the spray paint can I have used through out my life and finally came across this brand. Where have you been all my life. Good coverage, Good paint quality, Good paint resistant to light scratch. I spray 2 coats on some metal fab work that I previously spray primer on and that was it. After a few hours of drying in the sun it turn out perfect. Would I recommend this brand heck yeah. I will soon be doing more business with this brand of paint can. ... show more

  • Good Paint Good Coverage and a Good Refund Policy If You have a problem
Color: Gloss White Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I used two cans of gloss white to refresh a pair of resin outdoor chairs. Two coats, good coverage nice gloss finish. Reviewers have noted that the valve requires more than usual finger pressure and I agree. Also, the first can clogged after about 3/4 of the can had been used. I have a good solvent on hand to clean the spray head. The failure point was somewhere inside the can. It could be that I did not shake the can often enough while spraying or it could be something else. Amazon refunded the order and I ordered a second can. This one worked right to the last drop. I would order this paint again. ... show more

  • Great product, self leveling Great product, self leveling
Color: Light Gray Primer Size: 17 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Love this company. My photos are of the dark green color atop the primer. I use it on cast iron and also on this old rusty bench I picked up at the dump. The primer levels pretty freakin smooth. As does the paint enamel. Yes it takes a while to dry, be patient. I’m in the south so I paint it in the evening outside to let it dry overnight, then let it cure in the blasting hot sun all day. It sets hard as a rock. The primer & paint in the can does go a long way, thankfully, and didn’t get clogged. Nice even spray. Adhesion was fantastic. Everything I repainted was either an antique or rusty, and while I did spray the metal with the power washer before hand to remove loose old paint chips & dirt, but I didn’t sand smooth or anything like that. I don’t mind texture on antique cast iron. My intention for buying this paint was protection & durability. And this company provides both of those things. I really am enjoying the dark green paint color. It dries a little darker than when initially wet. Both pictures I posted are the same dark green color, the bench is in direct sun, the porch posts I’m making into an arbor is in the shade when I took the photo. It is lively, elegant, and to me has more appeal than black- Especially on outdoor metal ... show more

  • Spend a little more, get a lot more
Color: Light Gray Primer Size: 17 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This review is for the primer as well as the Seymour black MRO paint I used. This is a QUALITY product. It's a bit higher in price, and the high solids mean you have to spend more time shaking the can (and shaking, and shaking), but the difference between Seymour and typical Big Box Store spray paints is more than worth it. The thickness makes it much easier to use (a lot less dripping, like basically none), and the results are far superior. ... show more

  • Good paint Good paint
Color: Dark Machinery Gray Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This Seymour MRO is good paint, it's not as spectacular as i was expecting it to be. Coverage is good but not excellent, better than a rustoleum industrial can though. The finish is smooth and is really helped by some polish after it fully cures. The worst part about this can is the spray tip, it sprays a decent fan, but is stiff and uncomfortable as all heck. Swapping tips or using one of those 'paint gun' type attachments may be a decent idea. I'm happy overall with this paint, it did what I wanted it to do and the color is exactly what I wanted. (In my picture the 'grit' in the dimples is intentional and has nothing to do with the Seymour paint) ... show more

  • Baffled by the glowing reviews! This paint is truly awful!
Color: Omaha Orange Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
OK... First, using professional equipment, I have painted at least eight cars, painted thousands of extrusions and sheet metal in the sign fabricating business I owned. I am definitely not a rookie. And I've gone through thousands of cans of spray paint in my life. There is absolutely nothing special about this product that would warrant all the praise, nor the price. I needed to re-spray a set of patio furniture, and a number of louvered bi-fold doors. I really didn't feel like setting up and cleaning the spray equipment in my shop, although now I certainly wish I had. But the glowing reviews about Seymour Paints convinced me to give it a try. Nothing but trouble with the two products I purchased from them! First, The MRO product in Omaha Orange. I find it very hard to believe that this has 3 or 4 times the solids of other brands. The coverage was awful. And yes, I diligently shook the cans for several minutes before spraying, and during the painting process. Applied several lighter tack coats, etc. before going to finish coats. The coverage was pathetic, and trying to apply a normal heavier full-coverage coat resulted in immediate runs. I initially went through 10 big cans and had to order four more to finish the job on a metal patio table and four chairs. And then another two cans! And the drying time was equally ridiculous. In 70-degree temps and very low humidity, it took three days for the paint to not have a tacky feeling, even after leaving it in full sun for the third day. We couldn't put the pieces back into use for a week. In addition, the spray pattern is a fairly small, irregular circle making it really difficult to get a smooth blended finish on larger areas, like a table top. The next job was with semi-gloss black on the louvered doors. New problems with this product! I swear it took three or four minutes of shaking and banging the can on a hard surface to even get the ball to loosen up, then several more minutes to get it to spray without sputtering, and it required constant re-shaking to get any kind of consistency. Again a small circle spray pattern, and the sputtering made it impossible to get a smooth finish. I don't know if this was normal, but it seemed like it must have been some very old inventory, and these cans were shipped directly from Seymour. The coverage was better than the orange, but the finish was so blotchy I had to order more cans to even the final coats out. Started with eight cans to paint one side of 5 doors, had to order four more to finish the job. This was not a fluke for either of the colors. I had to order from two different Amazon suppliers AND directly from Seymour to get the quantity I needed, and the problems were identical with every can. I've had far, far better experience and results with Krylon (love the drying time and durability) and with Rustoleum (although that takes a bit longer drying time.) And both of those have a fan spray pattern, some of them adjustable for vertical or horizontal, which is far superior to the cheap dot pattern that Seymour provides. AND both of those brands are at least 25% less expensive than Seymour. They also offer far wider ranges of colors. Seymour? NEVER AGAIN! What a disappointment! EDIT: Let me say this again: this is the most awful paint I’ve ever worked with! The finish is embarrassing and I’m kicking myself for ever trying this product. Do not believe their marketing BS - this crap does not perform anywhere near what is promised. ... show more

  • Sparay 👍
Color: Light Blue Size: 16 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Excellent DIY solution for bumpers, mirrors, and quick touch-ups. Offers good coverage and gloss, especially if high-quality clear coat is used. It is crucial to identify the car's color code to avoid shade differences.
