Okay, yes, with 52 pieces I knew there had to be some feet that filled the exact same function as one or two others. But, for someone who had very little experience with "special feet," that was appealing. This way I can try the different styles of feet and see which I prefer to use for each task. Buying one presser foot at a time to see if I like it woud end up being very expensive. I can happily donate the ones I decide not to use in the future and still come off better financially. Or hang on to them in case I find an instance in which my less favorite would actually work better. I have inspected each and every one of the feet in the set and can honestly say I'm impressed with the quality. They are all well made. There are no rough edges or careless joins, unlike a $9 name brand (single) foot I purchased a few weeks ago from a local fabric shop. I noted one reviewer complained about measurements not being accurate. However I don't find that to be the case. It may just be a matter of where his/her needle is positioned. Finally, I will say that I did have a small issue with the condition of the item when it first arrived. One case was damaged and I had 2 duplicates with 2 missing feet. I contacted their Customer Service and have a complete (and perfect) replacement only a few days later. So, yes, I would recommend this as a gift. But be sure you have a little lead time just in case. P.S. Since I know many people aren't acquainted with all the kinds of special feet available, and since there is no accompanying manual with this set, you may want to know that there are 3 clear and simple Youtube videos on this specific set that. They not only show each of the feet and explain what its purpose it, they include short demonstrations in using each type. They will get you started quickly and easily in using them.

The set is well worth the money. I took the time (less than an hour) to label each piece. I placed each one beside the photo on the chart. I used a small piece of painters tape attached to the back and wrote the number of each one on the tape. This way all I have to do is reference the list that is included with the photo of each one and find the numbered piece in the organized case. I have placed a couple pieces in order in each compartment, making the compartment larger for the larger pieces. The time spent labeling them saves a whole lot of time rummaging thru them when you need them. You can easily remove the small piece of tape when you use them if you’re afraid it will fall off and gum up the machine. Just stick it on the side of the machine ready to placed back on when putting it back in the case. So far I have used the quilting foot with edge (number 12). It makes my seams perfectly straight. I’m making dinner napkins and they came out very professional looking. I’ve been sewing for 50 years. I believe organization and having the right tools makes your completed work great. By the way...all pieces were included. There are no duplicates. Some look alike but are not the same. I used a magnifying glass on the ones I was not sure about. I know this review is long. But I hope it helps my fellow stitchers! Happy sewing.

The product arrived fast which was appreciated. However, upon inspection of the set, two of the identified feet were missing from the set (i.e., the round bread foot and the 1/8” round hemmer foot). So I would recommend if you get this set to do a thorough inventory to make sure you receive the specific feet you want in the set.

My hard-working sewing machine of over 4 decades died a month ago so I purchased a new Singer as replacement. My Singer came with just a few interchangeable sewing feet so I knew that I needed to purchase extra accessory feet. While looking, I found that Just one of the these feet sells at JoAnn's for $19.95! So I decided to purchase this 42-feet case from Amazon. The price seemed almost too good to be true. I received these yesterday. They fit my Singer 4423 just fine. I love that each foot is identified by title/name, photos (2), and description. I love the case -- clear sturdy plastic, so that all feet are visible from the top, bottom, and sides. Thanks to the one paragraph how/why to use description, plus added alternative names, I was also able to find "how to use" for most of these feet on YouTube, including the shirring foot. Therefore, In addition to a great purchase experience, this has been excellent learning. Tho I have been sewing for most of my life, I have never owned nor used many of these feet. I am convinced that I will now be a better, more efficient sewer because of these new sewing tools. Note: My purchase arrived yesterday so I have not sewn any items with these new feet. Because they appear heavy and sturdy, and compare in quality to the feet included with my machine, my expectation is that they will work as described. If not, I will update this review. Update: have now used several of these feet and they work great. One new favorite is the large opening presser foot (#38) which allows perfect view when careful stitching is required and the second "favorite" is the Roller Foot. Excellent purchase - very pleased.

This is NOT compatable with baby lock Anna machines fyi. Also these aren’t labeled and it’s hard to figure out which one is which.
