Doors are constructed of high-quality grade 430 stainless steel with recessed handles and key lock. An UltraGuard® fingerprint-resistant coating on the doors help to resist smudges from grease and oil. They're also ferromagnetic, working with magnetic hangers, labels, white boards and other accessories. Easily organize the interior with 3 steel shelves height adjustable at 1-inch increments. Cabinet body is constructed of steel and features a ribbed exterior to protect against dents from impacts at work. Black polyurethane bumpers and grade 430 stainless-steel corner guards provide extra durability when you're on the move or in busy spaces. Cabinets were easy to assemble. Use a powered driver to put all those screws in....cannot imagine doing it all by hand with the supplied screwdriver. LOTS of styrofoam inside the box ! Guess that's required to ship from China and through the "system" and avoid damage to product. All holes the screws go into have nut-serts which make it really nice.....no stripped out self tapping screws. Once together the cabinets seem fairly sturdy, look great, and roll easily. They will probably feel more substantial once I get them loaded up with supplies. Door stay shut unlocked with strong magnets to hold them closed. Overall I spent a little more but feel the benefits were worth a little extra cost. ... show more

I ordered this cabinet to organize tools in my garage. This model was chosen after reading multiple glowing reviews on other sites. Upon arrival, the box had some indents and tears, but the cabinet parts were not damaged. It's well-packaged in a manner that avoids major shipping damage. As for the cabinet itself, it lives up to the marketing. The minimalist aesthetic makes it a good fit for almost any environment. It's sleek enough to be stored in an executive office, but durable enough to be loaded with tools in a shop. A magnetic screwdriver with a long shaft is included with the cabinet, which is helpful for some screws in recessed areas. However, the assembly may be challenging if you don't use additional tools. Almost all of the parts are secured with screws and threaded inserts. There are roughly 40 screws used to assemble this specific model. A powered screwdriver on a low-torque setting will save you a great amount of time. If you opt not to use power tools, a ratcheting screwdriver is the next best option. To summarize, I would recommend this Seville Classics metal cabinet to any DIY-er or professional. ... show more

Likes: love the way it looks. I am using it for extra storage for kitchen & dog stuff. Clearly meant for a shop butvi like the industrial look. Its pretty darn sturdy. Very roomy. As you can seen in mybpicture I could probably fit a lot more stuff in there if I organized better. It's totally worth the money! Could be improved: directions to put together were just OK. I managed, made a few mistakes and had to backtrack. One step I messed up beyond repair butbit does not show & does kot seem to affect sturdiness. Though it was packaged well, it did come with a couple dents that don't really show Son i didnt make a stink. It took me about an hour to unpack & inventory all parts and then about 4.5-5 hrs to assemble, all by myself. I am only semi- handy andnit would have been much easier with a second pairnof hands, but I did manage to complete it, amd am happy with it. ... show more

This storage cabinet is very nice and nice looking as well. I ordered it to declutter my garage and plan to get more once the garage floor is finished. This is made in USA and you can tell when you put it together that it’s not junk from China. Everything lines up perfectly. One of the shelf hooks was a little bent but I was able to bend it with heavy channel locks. It took me a few hours to put together with no help (I am a 61 yo female) and definitely would be easier with two sets of hands I always watch a video and read the directions. I went thru a couple before I saw a young Asian kid - probably a teenager. He goes thru each step even when he makes a mistake and is very well spoken. If you order this find that video on YouTube. I haven’t put anything on the shelves yet but I’m sure they’ll hold what I need them to. This cabinet offered 88 more sft than the amazons choice cabinet and was closer to the size of the shelves from which I will be removing the items to be stored. The amazons choice cabinet does look nice and has a drawer but I just wanted deeper shelves and a wider cabinet. I am happy to support a US manufacturer! ... show more

    • Assembly made easy - threaded inserts everywhere!

Spent an extra $75 bucks for sturdier unit after shopping amazon for '72 x 18 x 36 steel cabinet with shelves and doors'. This stood out as more substantial than the less expensive ones. When it arrived, I was delighted to see little threaded inserts absolutely everywhere. NO NUTS and WASHERS, just machine screws to go into precision-placed threaded inserts. Fabulous! Easy assembly. Love the unit. We use this one for garage food pantry items that would otherwise be vulnerable to rodent infestation. Steel cabinet will be mouse/rat proof. One note, though. Be sure your floor is flat. If it isn't, the doors won't open/close. This speaks to close tolerances - a positive feature, I think. Our garage floor is not completely flat. I had to choose placement wisely so I didn't have to use shims under the wheels. Once placed properly, the doors and lock mechanism work flawlessly. I highly recommend this unit. ... show more
