Bought 2 of these along with the smaller cart. I put the cart together, then decided to put both the cabinets together at the same time and laid them side by side for assembly, laying them out on the packing materials, so they wouldn't get marred on the concrete floor. Since I was familiar with the assembly process and the parts, it took 4 hours to put both of them together by myself. I used a power screw driver and that did help make the assembly go faster. A longer magnetic screwdriver was included with the parts. When I opened the boxes there were dents on both the base sections. I was able to push one of them out and the other was in the back, so I decided I could live with it, since it would be up against the wall. Neither dent caused any issues with assembly. These boxes are heavy so have a place for the delivery guy to set them, so you can open and work on them, where they lay. Manufacturer suggests that these cabinets are a two man job, but I had no problem, assembling and lifting them up by myself, being a woman and making sure the locking wheels were locked when I lifted it. I love that these cabinets are on wheels and are easy to move about. I did add metal tape to the holes on the bottom base support and also covered the ends, to prevent spiders from getting in there. Assembly also went quicker by putting the two greatest number of screws in my pant pockets. Saved trips back to where I had laid out the parts. Lastly, these heavy duty cabinets come with adjustable shelves and look very nice. They are roomy and I can't wait to fill them up and get organized. Ordered the aforementioned cabinets 5 years ago. Just ordered another Storage cabinet from Selling Sneakers I purchased on 4-11-2022 and it hasn't arrived yet. I needed this cabinet to arrive on time, and now, I am unable to locate it with the tracking # given. They said the carrier was OSM and that it was picked up, and never got to "out for delivery". I'd be cautous about using this vendor. If the vendor doesn't respond in a couple of days, I will have to move to get my money refunded and order the cabinet again. Engineering and quality control: This was clearly designed so that anyone can put it together with the provided screwdriver. In addition to the screws, there are reinforcing bars and corners that help to make the cabinet sturdy. There were no missing parts and all parts and screws are clearly labeled (front, back, top, bottom, etc.) with reference numbers on the parts and screw bags. The casters are very large, which makes for easy moving of the cabinet. The two front casters lock. Shipping: This cabinet was shipped in a very sturdy cardboard crate with plenty of styrofoam padding inside. All the sheet metal pieces were in plastic sheathes to prevent scratching. There was one back panel that was slightly bent/creased, but I was able to straighten it with a minimum of effort. Instructions: It is critical that the instructions be followed exactly. Do NOT attempt to use a screw gun to assemble this, as the screws go into a threaded insert. Excessive torque will likely cause the insert to pop out, and then you will end up having to find nuts and bolts to fix the problem, and will probably hurt yourself from the repeated blows to your head for being stupid. The instructions are easily understood, and all parts are referenced by name and number. The diagrams are a little small, so wear your bifocals. At age 72, I was able to assemble this by myself with only minor griping about my aching back, so suck it up, buttercups. This is a good product. ... show more

    • Perfect as a mobile pantry
Worth the money! I bought one of these to use as a pantry to keep my items of food and kitchen equipment from invading the household while living with my daughter and her family, but still have it close by while preparing meals. Although it was filled to capacity, it rolled easily - the casters are amazing! I bought some cupboard organizers that hung from the shelves to increase shelf space for smaller items. The stainless is not a super heavy gauge, but it is durable and stayed shiney, even though my three wee grandkids dished out lots of fingerprints (easily wipes off), lots of magnetic toys (they stick great!), and used the side of the cabinet for decal art and their magnets. The door locks but, as others have pointed out, it's not terribly difficult to break into if you're a motivated thief. But it does keep nosey twin toddlers and a 3 year old out of nana's things. Although it weighs almost 150 pounds, the awesome (and I do mean awesome!) casters allowed me to roll this unit out to my truck across some gravel, tip it in the bed, and haul to my new home with no problems. As others have also pointed out, some parts may arrive dented. Mine arrived with a shipping "ding" in the cardboard that punctured enough that it marred one of the side panels. No biggie. The amount of packaging from the manufacturer ensured that the product would arrive as intact as possible; beyond that, it's all up to the handling while in transit. As a side note, when the doors are opened all the way and pressed against the top corners where the screws protrude, it WILL dent the door. I found that out when I moved it. Again, no biggie, but I was kinda bummed. Being a former union sheet metal worker, I appreciate the beauty of metal and good construction and this cabinet has both. I now have my eyes on the Seville work bench with the metal top to use as a kitchen island. For me, it's more about function over form, so although these are intended for the garage, I'd rather put them to use in my hard-working kitchen! ... show more
