The one problem of being a housemate to an elderly bachelor is that all of the stuff that he needs be close at hand on a daily basis, always clutters up the coffee table. So, with our old coffee table always in need of being fixed because the screws that held it together kept coming undone, I knew that it was time for a upgrade to something more sensible. With all the stuff that he keeps on the table, the only way he would be able to keep it all within reach & still not have all that insane clutter, was to buy & assemble this table. It was VERY hard to assemble by myself even with the clear & concise pictographic instructions. It was more about not getting the bolts to sit right at first & if you buy this table, you will see what I mean. After so many years of so many furniture assemblies, I'm no stranger to something like this. It took me five hours of struggling but the end result was totally worth it! With all the storage space below the split table top, I was finally able to have a clear table without so much clutter on it! Mind you, my elderly housemate likes to watch TV as he eats. So having one part of table rise up to a proper dining level, is so worth all the frustration I had in putting this unit together! With all that storage space, everything just seemed to disappear even though its still close at hand but not cluttering up the table top as it used to before I got this unit. So, yeah... In spite of all the struggles & frustration, this unit deserves the five star rating based on the cleverness of the design which has resolved a long time cluttering issue & its even more compact than the old coffee table which wasn't going to last much longer anyways. One downside though... I have to be vigilant now every time that I walk around it because I'm so clumsy that I have scraped my knees on it several times. So, big bummer there but not the fault of the designers. That's on me to be more careful around its sharper corners unlike the old one that had rounded corners. ... show more

I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this table! TBH, I expected less due to the price, but am so happy I purchased for an additional work, eat, beverage and game space. I am the least handy person ever, but I actually put this together by myself as the instructions were EXCELLENT!!! Each piece was perfectly labeled and matched exactly to the directions! It would be much faster with 2 people, but if needed one person can pull it off. EVERYTHING was included! All the way down to the screwdriver. The extensions work perfectly and are very smooth. The surface is easy to clean but can show fingerprints. Those are easily wiped away. So happy I purchased! ... show more

I had someone else put this together for me, but I'm also 67 and have zero tools. It took 2 guys about an hour to get it done. It looks more expensive than it was! The black is slick, medium shine, easy to clean too. It's so convenient to slide the top open to eat my taquitos! The side slider is fantastic too. I hadn't intended to buy a table but the price was right and I'm so glad I did. There's nothing bad to say. I love it! Oh and it's sturdy too! Nice storage including the drawers. Give me a flat surface and I'll clutter it in 10 minutes. This saves my clutter butt..Lol ... show more

It is a nice table, fits in my space. The color is more green then grey but still looks good. The food up table tops work as they should. They hold my dinner and drinks when eating. The 2 draws are small but work for storage.

The media could not be loaded. It is a good product and came with good instructions to put it together the only thing is the top opening is not very easy to open and close and top joint is not aligned. I am not very happy with this purchase. I can’t even return it because when I called Amazon they wanted me to pack it back up. Now the table that took 2 hours to assemble how am I going to disassemble and pack it into the box it came in. ... show more
