I’ve only played around with it in Sound mode but the preset effects are pretty awesome and the motor response is unbelievable. Now that I’ve seen this thing for myself I plan to order at least three more. My DMX controller should arrive in a few days and I’ll write a review on that as soon as I can. Seem to be good quality and work great. Got these for my special needs brother who likes electronics a lot. They have entertained him for hours. He now keeps asking how to be a DJ. The lights do look great and move around the room. They move with the music also.

Is it possible to control the speed of the motors when programming in dmx mode? I programmed a few scenes, but when i switch from one to the next, the motors move the tines very quickly. It seems like I can control the speed that the lights move at, but not the motors. I hope I didn't waste my money... ... show more

I bought this for a houseboat party on the lake that I will be going to in September. I tested it out in a dark room and it does really well and is bright. The function buttons and directions are confusing. I only plan on using this by sound so I am not going to be doing anything exciting with it. these are great. I like that the heads move independently of one another, and different lights activate at different times. Very cool effect. I have only used them as sound activated and not DMX yet.

Got it and it worked awesome.. For less than 45 days then the LEDs stopped working. The heads still move, but therea no light coming out anymore. Beyond disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This little light is pretty awesome. I set it to sound activated and gave to say that it responds really well to the beat. Note that the effect is augmented because of my fog machine. But even without it, it gets the party going.
