These tools are perfect for someone who does light gardening. The variety of tools provides you a selection to work with, which I really appreciate. They aren’t the most durable garden tools, which isn’t a big deal unless you’re someone who does a ton of gardening. For me, they’re a perfect set to give my teenage nephew when he comes over to help. If he breaks or loses a piece, no big deal. My partner and I are big gardeners, so we’ll likely stick with our more heavy-duty tools for daily use. This is a great garden set but I personally don't care for the bag. The handles have a nice grip and they are pretty durable. The bag is tall but not wide enough. I put all the yard tools in my other bag because it's much bigger. The set has most things I need. Overall I'm very happy with it.

    • Incredible value for an impressive gardening set
These aren’t the most hardcore garden tools out there of course, but they’re not exactly toys either. And for the current price point, a very good deal and makes for a fantastic gift for any level of gardener or plant owner. I just finished sprucing up my garden bed -transplanting, potting, light weeding, planting new stuff- and used everything except the wire, saw and gloves (prefer my own, these are too perforated to where dirt still gets in under my nails). I can’t say a negative thing about any of the other pieces. Well, the brand new shine of the metal was blinding, that’s about it. Afterwards, I put it all organized like into the practical bag and hung on a hook in our shed. The saw will be useful for pruning thicker plants, like hibiscus’s or rose bushes. Wouldn’t go trying to fell a tree with it though. I really like this set and have faith in it, but will update if something happens too soon -like anything breaking. I 100% recommend these garden tools. You will find a use for and be satisfied with every piece. Also, ideal gift idea for novices, advanced gardeners or even just houseplant owners. Ordered this gardening kit for my wife to use in her tomato garden. Comes with 7 tools, carrying bag, plant ties, and a pair of cheap gloves. Several of the tools are pretty light duty, so they won't last long, several are reasonably robust and should last a while. Overall a light duty gardening tool kit she can use if she needs it. This gardening tool set has pretty much everything you need for working in your garden. All the tools are of good quality, however, you should always take good care of metal tools so they can last you a long time. As with any metal tool, always clean them after contact with dirt or moisture. These tools are made of stainless steel which will make cleaning a lot easier and will last a very long time.     • Seem nice - not sure whether they are really stainless steel
The bag is roomy, with many exterior pockets that have elastic loops to hold the handles of the tools placed in the pockets on the front and back and mesh pockets on the sides that could hold water bottles. There is one very large interior pocket. The description says stainless steel, but none of the tools are marked as such, and the label on the box lists all of the tools in the box with their pictures, but does not state that they are stainless steel. This is an important point, as their value depends on it, IMO. The pruner and folding saw are very sharp, and all of the tools feel heavy and as though they will last. The gloves are coated on the palm side with a textured rubber or silicone, which gives some protection from thorns and also gives a good grip. The gloves fit me OK - I am a petite female - they would not fit a larger person's hands at all, or would be uncomfortable. I think they should be machine washable, as the fabric under the rubberized coating feels like a polyester knit, but there are no instructions for cleaning the gloves or anything else. Whether or not they rust between now and next summer will determine the true star rating they should receive, and I will attempt to remember to update this review at that time. Right now, I don't feel comfortable giving more than 3 stars, but that will change either to more or fewer stars when I know whether they are really worth the money. ... show more

    • Very nice set of gardening tools
To start with I like the bright and easy to grip plastic handles. Easy to spot when you set them down. I also like that the trowels are one piece of steel and are not welded. I have snapped off a couple of welded trowels in my garden. The small saw is handy to carry around with you for pruning larger branches that the small clippers will not handle. I find the saw more practical than trying to carry around big loppers. The tie wire is a great addition to the package along with the gloves. ... show more
