Needed ONE size. Cost for a single wrench was 2/3 the cost of this set. THe Allen wrenches were a bonus. Definately worth it. Nicely polished, solid feel, fine pitch ratchet, and more.

    • Good price to performance ratio
This is a serviceable metric set for the DIY enthusiasts. Better than you would expect for the price, which has fallen further since I acquired my set. The finish is generally good if not spectacular. As other reviewers have stated, there is some slop in the articulated heads. The ratcheting action seems generally smooth but, as with the heads has some flex. Between the two you likely lose 2º - 3º overall, which somewhat negates the 72-point ratchet advantage. It won’t matter in most situations but might in very tight spaces. I haven’t put all of the wrenches to actual use but, so far, this appears to be a reasonable purchase that will serve the average home mechanic well. If I were counting on these to make a living I would certainly upgrade. The roll-up case is meh. The stitching on the clear plastic cover was slightly off on mine, causing it to rip when removing the 19mm wrench. Not a deal breaker but speaks to the modest compromises made to keep this set very affordable. Overall, a good place to start building your metric collection or for occasional use. What a awesome price for these great quality wrenches. Not often do I use such large metric wrenches but I needed a 22mm. I went to local Lowe's and to buy one wrench was more money than this entire set.

These are a great value for the number of wrenches you get compared to other sets. Nice roll-up case. The allen wrench set is a welcome bonus. All in all a nice set I'd recommend to anyone.

The first thing you’ll notice when you open the storage bag is the excellent finish on these wrenches. The tools themselves are nice quality... great for the homeowner or occasional user. Just about any ratchet head type wrench is not going to handle the torque of a traditional wrench. There are light duty situations however where these are very handy. The ratchet heads do work well. The box ends of the wrenches are great. The storage bag they come in is OK, but I’ll just take these out and put them in my roll-around tool chest. ... show more

As a homeowner/DIYer who only needs one of these on pretty rare occasions, these are absolutely perfect for my needs, it's great to have so many sizes covered at such a great price. The ratcheting head seems to work well enough, I haven't noticed any issues with them. The finish isn't the nicest I've ever seen, but I've got no complaints at all for the price. And the wrap-up bag seems nice and sturdy, I don't see it wearing out any time soon. And I LOVE the stretchy-wrap loops that close it up without having to tie it -- on and off, quick and easy. Personally I don't have much need for the hex keys, and would have just preferred an extra wrench size or two instead, but overall I'm very happy to have these to round out my wrench collection. ... show more

These ratcheting wrench is a pretty good budget wrench. The construction of the set feels sturdy. The ratcheting action is generally smooth. The flex head doesn't stay at its place and slops especially when I was trying to unscrew a thin nut, so I had to put my hand to hold it. But it wasnt a big problem. It is great for occasional use or DIYer. But I wouldn't recommend for a professional. The mesh is good, but I hoped it could be little smaller to be able to fit in a smaller toolbox.
