Very nice. Grips cards appropriately. The trick is to avoid pushing the card too deep into the slot. By placing the card near the top of the slot, you allow for easy removal and prevent lifting the holder as it continues to grip the card.

These are virtually identical to two sets of card holders that we have had for years, but that were sold under a different brand. We like these very much, but found that this time, they are incredibly hard to slide your cards into: at least at first. I am hoping that they loosen up over time. They easily hold the 12 to 20+ cards that one might have to hold at once in some forms of canasta. The base is stable, even though the "feet" seem small, so they are not terribly easy to knock over accidentally showing one's cards. ... show more
