I bought one of these for when family visits. I was not thrilled with the price at the time and was looking at other options, but the others looked cheap. Some of them had the staples showing where they stapled the straps on, or had 4 straps rather than 5. This rack is sturdy and folds very nice when not in use. The bottom shelf is so handy for shoes or bags, and stays in place when folded, it doesn't flop. My mother-in-law was very happy that she didn't she didn't have to keep her suitcase on the floor and bend down to retrieve items. I also liked that it didn't have to be put together, you just take it out of the box and it's ready to go. I'm thinking of bringing it on driving trips because hotels never have two of these in the room.

I have two good luggage racks, but needed another one for packing a third, larger and heavier suitcase. This product is great! It is simply constructed and very sturdy. Bamboo is an excellent, sturdy material well suited to this purpose. It looks good, it is lightweight, and is probably environmentally friendly. Bamboo is a grass after all. It has a handy bottom tray which my existing racks do not have. It folds into the usual thin shape for storage. I have one slight concern. The bottom tray pivots on one leg and is held in place for storage by little ball and socket latches. For storage, the pivots are at the bottom of the leg and the latches are at the top. The latch is light duty, and I had a little trouble managing the unfold/refold process. However, this is not something you do every day, so the issue is of minimal impact. The tray, in the unfolded for use position, is firmly supported by sturdy support on all sides.

This is a great investment for any traveler! I bought one for a guest bedroom and am highly impressed. It is made of sturdy decent quality wood. The finish looks amazing. I love the rack at the bottom for keeping shoes off of the floor. I am truly happy about this purchase!
