I am writing this review mainly about the price gouging going on with this seller. He charged me double the regular price for this soap. However it was more my fault because I did not look at the ounces. But I live and learn. I dont even want to leave my house to go to the post office to return it. There are a few Peppermint Castile Soaps on the market, but Dr. Bronner's is my favorite. The fragrance permeates throughout the bathroom and attached bedroom. But what sets is apart from the others is that it has a cool tingling sensation once you rinse it off and the sensation lasts for a bit even after you dry off. We always buy Dr.Bonners for our body wash. I usually go for the baby formula / non-scented but since this one was slightly cheaper I decided to switch it up. My boyfriend absolutely loves it and we find this Castille soap vs other body washes keeps him smelling fresh longer. I also use it to clean the tub and my dog's. When I used to work at a yoga studio we used to use the peppermint scent in the men's bathroom and the lavender in the women's to give a fresh spa vibe. ... show more

While I think it says there are 100 different uses for it..it is awful dish soap.. so just stick with Dawn, but I love this for the shower.. feels good, smells good, makes me clean.. like I would hope soap would. It's a bit pricey, but it really does last a long time unless you accidentally squirt WAY too much on to your sponge (btw..don't use the sponge I bought..see my other review..unless you want to lose a layer of skin)..but really happy with this. ... show more

I have been using this product for 30+ years, because simply put: it works. Deep cleans your pores and leaves you smelling like mint, not some perfumie smelling junk. Cheap, easy and makes your parts...tingle... I got it to keep the gnats off of me, doesn't seem to do much. Odd that my wife cannot smell it on me right after showering...because you sure as heck can smell it and feel it when using it.

So I am torn on this product because does it work to clean you YES is the scent pleasant as long as you like peppermint YES. However, buyer beware if you put it in a “sensitive” areas it’s going to burn (and not necessarily in a good way) because it’s very strong peppermint base. Another downside is it will dry your skin so if you already have areas of dry skin you might want to avoid those. But this is why I’m torn, it cleans very well leaves no trace behind of dirt, oil or anything you want to cleanse off your skin but with that comes dryness. And the scent is pleasant but along with that comes burning only if it comes in contact with your “personal” areas, just saying ;). But I do like it like once a week instead of daily to give my skin a really good deep clean. ... show more
