The frames were a nice black finish but one was too thin for my matted painting so I put the two together back to back with the mat encased between them and glued them together, which worked well to complete my very inexpensive wall hanging with a yard sale painting.

I am very impressed with the overall quality of the frames. the only problem is they are so light wight they fell cheap. The backing board hardware is the best designed I have ever seen, and I have been involved with frames for 60 years. I will buy again. The reason for 4 stars is because the backing board had a corner broken off. I had to buy a new frame as this was a gift and I am running out of time. ... show more

    • Nice Frames for the Price
These are nice frames for the price. They have plexiglass which I prefer to glass for safety reasons. The only downside is they have a pretty strong glue? smell. Perhaps this will dissipate with time...it could be from being in the plastic.

    • Nicks on one frame, but you get what you pay for
One of the frames had a few small nicks in the corners, but they weren’t super noticeable and I didn’t feel like returning them, so I just colored over them with black sharpie. Overall, you get what you pay for.
