What a great, sturdy, comfortable chair. I love the color and the fact that it is heavy and won't blow into the pool, or away, if a wind gust comes around. It took a while to put it together, but it got easier and more intuitive after a while. I'd recommend a lumbar pillow to increase comfort. Also, I really like the hidden cup holder. One suggestion: have a friend help with assembly because it is much easier having someone hold while you tighten the screws, etc. ... show more

I assembled three of these chairs: Pros: Well engineered & precisely cut and drilled - Sturdy and attractive - priced right - can be folded for storage - follow the instructions and while assembly is not :15, I did it alone without difficulty. Cons: Lots of locking nuts, bolts and screws. Inevitably I will drop and lose one. Nix the wrench it is worthless. Add a couple extra nuts, bolts & screws and add a dollar or two to the price to compensate. ... show more

Look good and relatively easy to put together. Everything you need to build the chairs comes in a nicely packaged tool and components packet. I ended up switching to power tools to go faster, but if you don’t have power tools, you can still build the chairs. Really comfy and good quality. We don’t ever fold ours, so I can’t speak to the foldability. My only gripe with the chairs is how quickly the white shows dirt. But c’est la vie. ... show more

4 stars because of inaccurate description. I'm no slouch when it comes to things mechanical in any way. This chair is 13 parts, not 6. While the instructions are decent, it is in no way possible to assemble this in 15 minutes. It takes 10 minutes to remove it from the box. Also, a little skeptical that this is capable of withstanding nearly 400 pounds of weight. All this said, it is nice chair, we bought two. Ergonomically, very well designed, and very comfortable. Low to the ground like it is, I feared some difficulties getting up and out of it. Turns out, non-issue. So I can recommend this item. But be prepared for a lengthy build process here, not 15 minutes. ... show more

Purchased a total of 6 chairs in white and all have them have turned yellow. These have been outside only 7 months and have both full cushions on them as well as covers. My patio was being built so I waited until after it was completed to build them and put them out. This was completed in October 2025. You can see by the pictures the difference in color. I have been going back and forth with Serwall and they do not stand behind their product. If there is a problem with fading they should let the customer know so we can make a decision on our own. ... show more

I am writing an update of my recent customer service experience. The chairs were great all summer, but when we were folding the chairs to put them away for winter storage we had 2 small pieces that broke. I messaged customer service. Once again Lily responded, apologized for any inconvenience and arranged for replacement parts to be sent to our home. A few days later I received an email with the tracking information. In a couple of days we will have the new parts. That is great customer service!! We are planning to order more from them next spring!!!! I did a lot of research before purchasing these chairs. We wanted a chair that could fold for storage in the winter. I didn't think we would find a chair that would meet my expectations and also fold. We looked at a lot of chairs. I wanted a poly lumber that had a woodgrain and looked like wood. We are very happy with the chairs. We purchased 4 total. They are sturdy, heavy chairs that are good quality. I like the Serwall tag on the front. It is a nice touch. They were easy for my husband and myself to put together. 2 people working together make it easier to assemble. We took turns holding the parts and passing the tools side to side for faster assembly. I will confirm that there are pieces that are not predrilled as indicated in the instructions. We are not builders. We found it easy to mark and drill those holes. I am so happy with the chairs it wasn't an issue to do the extra steps. Those pieces that were predrilled were nicely drilled and made completing the assembly easy. We had an arm on one of the four chairs that was broken. We needed to use the chairs for a party so we went ahead and assembled the chair. After, I contacted customer service. Lily, the representative, was quick to respond, friendly and professional. They glady offered to replace the damaged part, no questions! I will receive the part soon. I have already received the tracking information. The blue chairs look beautiful in our yard along the lake shore! We have received many compliments!! I would definitely purchase another product from the Serwall Store. I am already looking at the matching folding table!!! ... show more
